Do you really need all four of them?! We've been having a bidding war forever, and then you swoop in, demand if they've been approved, and then bid 30 BP. On each.

Yes, I know people are allowed to do that (and the adoptable owner was probably really happy -- I'd be happy too if I was about to get 120 BP).

But why?

Actually, I have a better question. How? How on earth can anyway keep 120 BP just saved up for the adoptable that they suddenly must have? I guess everyone else on PI has more self-control than I do.

...And the one I was bidding on was yellow. A gorgeous, bright yellow.

It's all right. I always get mad when I think I'm going to win something, then someone comes out of now where, and bids an amount that I can't top. It's understandable, yet frustrating.

I could never save up that much, I would either spend it on adoptables long before that, or deploy and try to make a nice pretty starter, which I have failed miserably at recently. It does seem unkind to bid on all of them, but as you said, they are allowed to do that. I hope you get another chance at one that you like just as much.

Well, they didn't win the two females. Apparently, lots of people are super BP and PG savers. And they gifted the yellow one to one of the bidders who had been bidding on two of the females, but didn't win one. Which was very nice of them.

So... I guess I'm okay with this. It was just like "Surprise! I bid a ton of BP that you can never hope to match!"

...I'm not really sure why I made such a big deal of it in this thread.

Ooh, that's gotta be really annoying, frustrating, and depressing to now that you almost had it then lost it. It's very very frustrating. But, it isn't the end of the world and at times like this where you seriosly want to got to drastic measures, you gotta be mature and see that it was aloud. I hope you and wish you better luck in the future. =) We totally understand.

On another note, I too cannot save that much BP or PG. I'd sell all the BP in 15 minutes. Or spend the majority of it with me, gwaking at it. Teehee.

Awww, sounds like they were snipers, who don't bid until the auction nears the end so they can sneak in and get it. Sorry Saiki.

That happens to me too.The other day I bid one bp on something then someone bid 125bp.
