Well just got back from the vet. Turns out Kohaku has something that might be semi-serious going on with his gums. I forget what she calld it, but it was a long scientific word. She's given me antibiotics that he has to take twice a day, and if that doesn't work...we're going to try steroids. If THAT doesn't work.... he might have to get his teeth pulled out!

My poor little man....

Well, this means I can't let me co-worker feed him over the week that I'm gone to Acen. Because he'll hide from her, she won't even be able to find him in this house. Plus I don't want to make her come over here twice every single day.

So now I'm sitting around, waiting for my parents to get the message I left on their answering machine so they can call me back and I can beg them to take care of him for the week I'm gone. Sigh.

At least I'm finished packing and the house is clean for the roommates, I'm proud of that. Didn't do the dishes though... >_> I should....hmm.

One pf my kittys has a diese where his gums go red and we have to pull out his teeth he only has three left now. Don't worry he will get better I'm sure

My little Aero only has three teeth left. *sigh* She's an old kitty, though. Going on - what? - nine or ten years. It was really creepy, a few weeks ago, I was scared to death when I saw one of her fangy teeth on the couch with gum still attached! *shiver* I hope Kohaku will be ok....

Well I finally made it home (my parents' house I mean) with Kohaku. They've agreed to take care of him even though next week is THEIR vacation too, bless their hearts. Now I just hope he responds to the anti-biotics.

My cat is 23 years old and is getting really frail but she sure lets me know when I am doing things she doesn't like.
