So, Im sat here waiting for 2pm to come around because my lovelies in hospital. I was with him untill about 1am last night and then I had to leave to get a lift home. The doctors dont know for definate what it is, but they think it could either be gall stones, kidney stones or early appendicitus. Im really worried, since this happens every couple of months and Im worried to find out what it is. He's just started workign again after about 3 months and hes at risk of losing his chance at permanent work because hes in hospital. Im just sick and tired of everything tricky me, me thinking that things are turning around and then *BAM* everything going wrong again. I dont want him to be poorly, I want him to be happy. I havnt seen much of him all week because hes been working late shift and Im in bed when he gets back. I dont know what else to say, I just want to share it with people, and this is the friendliest community I know...

I'm sorry. Hopefully everything will work out soon. I hope your boyfriend gets better soon. My Dad had kidney stones, and while they're no fun, they do pass eventually. I don't know about the other possibilites you mentioned. Anyway, hang in there, and everything will be ok in the end. *Hugs*

I have had a Kidney Stone, and let me tell you, it feels like you are dying. With the right medication the pain subsides, which allows your body to safely pass it. So lets hope that a Kidney stone is what he has. They also form from a habit in lifestyle, and the Stone itself will actually tell doctors what it is that needs to be changed.
So I hope he gets better, and I hope it is as simple as a Kidney Stone.

Thanks, Ive been up at the hospital all day and he seems to be getting better. They dont think its Kidney Stones, they think it may be something to do with his appendix or his Gall bladder, but they arent really explaining anything to me. Its the fact that it happens every couple of months that worries me, and at the peak of it, he cant move with pain on his right hand side and the vomit is now bile, a green colour, which is worrying. I just dont want them to send him home and do nothing about it, but I want him home, he hates it in there. Im just confused.... Thankyou for all the comments, Im just happy to be able to share it. *Hugs everyone back*

I phoned up this morning, before I went to visit, to be told by my boyfriend "Theyre going to open me up, have a look around and take out my appendix if its bad, and my bowels if they are". I was terrified, I realise the bowels thing would only be a small piece of them, not the whole lot, but stilll. Anyway, I am unable to stay strong in situations such as that, so I immediately started crying when he put the phone down. Gah... Anyway, I got there and he was going into surgery at two. The nurse explained that they dont know what it is, but they will be removing the appendix anyway, while they are in there, just in case, I presume. They removed it, and nothing else, so Im hoping thats a good sign, but there was no one that could tell me if they were sure that was that. I think its just a waitind game. SO anyway, hes goign to be in untill at least Wednesday. Then he cant do anythign for a week really, and after that, no heavy lifting for a week. This is bad because A) His job involves heavy lifting entirely, and B} Hes just started a temp job, which he was loving and he would have had a good chance of getting. Now, the chances of him staying there, never mind going perm, are slim to none. This is the first job hes been able to find that wasnt just odd days, in the last 3 months. 1 week of everything looking up and then it decides that, no, you shall not do well. You shall be poor forever!!! Im on an apprenticeship, where I get paid £85 a week, minus travel and food etc. He was on the dole, £45.50 a week. I am not entitled to anything towards the rent and he gets £30 a week. - The rent is £75... Looks like we'll just have to struggle though it again, once hes better of course. Im going to have to take a few days off work to get him home alrite, as he wont be able to move around too much, and the dog needs walking, food need cooking and he'll need help having a bath and things for a few days. All in all a bad weekend, but at least theyve done something...
