So Thursday afternoon and all day yesterday my parents and I went college visiting.
Thursday we went to a little college that my friend went to this year. We were really impressed by their persentation, and the tour was really good, and my friend was absolutely gushing, and had nothing bad to say. We were pretty happy with the school in general.
Yesterday we went to another college, that is a little smaller, and it was very much like the first one, except better. Smaller, not as connected to the town, prettier campus, bigger campus, better food, nicer dorms, bigger better science center (I'm probably going into science), more friendly people, etc, etc.
The best thing about it wasn't any of those, though. When we left the parking lot, an we were walking across the campus looking for the admissions building, I felt like I was coming home. The students are so intensly and passionately interested in everything they are doing, and so are the proffessors. I have never felt that spirit of loving to learn anywhere else, and it has frustrated me times uncounted in high school.
So now I'm really happy, I have found the place I want to go. We actually cancelled a visit to Princeton because we are so sure about this school. I'm only a junior, so I havn't applied yet or anything, but this is very exciting!

Thanks! Now, of course, it's a matter of getting in, and getting enough financial aid.
