This meadow was not only beautiful, but it was silent. That's why Karimah loved it. she hated such loud, abnoxious things. Karimah believed that Pykiin were only loud because they just liked to hear themselves talk. She smiled, sat, and listened to the breeze whisper through the grass. She watched the flowers as they followed the wind. She wondered if anyonelse every came by here. If they claimed it as their meadow, too..

Knacker knew SkyDad was looking for him. He could tell when the big blue Pykiin's head turned this way and that, and his eyes cast over the area in a searching gaze.
That was why Knacker was hiding, of course.
Not wanting SkyDad to find him, pick him up, and fly back to the treehome to make him stay inside where it was "safe," Knacker snuck low to the ground in some fresh green grass. He blended in almost perfectly, and the tall grass was well over his head.
With tiny slow movments--Knacker's eyes were good and he knew fast movement meant waving grass stalks that would announce his presence--he pushed through the grass and made his way directly away from SkyDad. He kept this up until he knew he was far out of sight, then he stood up and ran as fast as his little paws could take him. A huge smile broke over his face as he bolted across the Valley. Free! Free and running like the wind! It was great!
Knacker spread his fairy wings as he ran and tried jumping into the air, gliding back down to the ground with each giant step. He made his way in this hop-fly-glide fashion until he spotted a beautiful yellow flower coming up in front of him. Immediately Knacker stopped to get a better look at this very large flower. As soon as he halted he realized it wasn't a flower at all, it was SunGirl!
Knacker was happy to see a friend. He trotted across the beautiful meadow, feeling the faint breeze through the grass and stepping around tiny flowers reaching for the sun (the real one, not SunGirl). He stopped behind her and tapped her tail to get her attention.

((OMG Farn meh LURV! Where has you beeen?! :3))
Cheyenne hopped from atop the cliff her father’s cave was rested underneath. She smiled and drew a long breath as she sauntered to the pond’s side. It wasn’t really a huge pond, more like a filthy swamp, but her dad loved it anyway. Looking into the surface of the water she couldn’t figure out why here, of all places to choose from her dad chose here.
A small smirk sprouted on her face and only grew as she looked at the entrance of the cave. Nothing. Her tail flicked and before she knew it her wings were batting like crazy. Slowly she levitated over the pond, and then swiftly swerved the other direction just above the trees on the west side of the small estate.
On her way she could only see the many different colors of green that were present in the Valley, much more pleasing than the stone gray and blues that she lived in. But before she knew it there was a spot of something different. Yellow? He questioned the color in her head before she carefully descended from the sky landing just short of the not only one other ‘Kiin, but two.
She smiled warmly at the two as the wind blew her tail, ears, and any excess fur in their direction.

Karimah sat smiling and silent in the meadow and closed her eyes. She almost wished it was silent all the time. Oh how wonderous it would be... Kaenene wouldn't be able to shrill and screech everywhere.. Tapanga wouldn't be able to talk a mile a minute.. But yet they would still all understand eachother just the same. Karimah laughed at her thoughts, and how foolish they were. Of course thtat owuld never happen.
Her tail quickly flicked away from whatever was touching her. Perhaps it was a butterfly! Karimah hoped it was. But when she turned around she found something much better than a butterfly. It was that Pykiin she played with a long time ago.. The one that didn't talk. She remebered that was some of the most fun she had in a long time.
"Hi!" She squeaked happily. "I haven't seen you in such a long time!" Her smiled windeed and Karimah eyes filled with happiness. "Mahh!" She yelled. "A fur got in my eye.." She said. With a few blinks it was out, she then wiped it off of her face. She couold feel over furs falling on her nose... Karimah looked up to see a pink little Kiin hovering above the air.
"Oh.. H-hi." She said sheepishly. "You..wanna join u-us?"

Knacker sat up straight and grinned at SunGirl. He could tell by the recognition in her eyes, she remembered him! He liked that. It had been a long time since they had played together. He hadn't been sure.
In the same way he had seen his parents wave to other Pykiin they knew, Knacker picked up his paw and waved it back and forth in hello. Then he got a good look around the little meadow for the first time. He grinned at the nice secluded spot. It was small and private and he could feel the little breeze blowing through the place, could see the flowers moving in the same way and knew the wind blew them, could feel the sun soaking into the dirt and giving life to the grass. Knacker felt a deep connection to the earth, the same way his mother did. He knew this meadow was a good place.
When SunGirl looked up, he followed her gaze, just as he felt the breeze change direction, meaning something was in the air above them. He made a short bark of happy surprise to see another Pykiin! This was one he had not seen before. She had spots and stripes and rainbows all over. What a design!
Knacker jumped up on his hind legs and beat the air with his own fairy wings, but didn't take off. He grinned at the rainbow-winged girl and gestured with is paw for her to come down to land, after glancing at SunGirl and deciding that she was probably meaning the same thing. He wondered for a moment if this was SunGirl's private place, but her expression was open and friendly, if a little embarrassed.
