Sorka listened closely, her face mirroring her worry. She had some idea of what this was about, since she'd seen Akiyama's reactionto her own story. She didn't know Ichigo well enough to guess her reaction, but she knew it wouldn't be good. "You are certain you do not wish us to leave? We could go a short distance and return when you are done."

Akiyama shook his head at Sorka, "No, it's alright. I'd like to tell you and Addei, as well. Like you said, talking about it may help me feel a little better."
Hesitantly, slowly, Akiyama began. "We met up at the pond this morning, just before I came here, and... we decided that it wasn't going to work out and..." he looked at Ichigo, who had fear written all over her face. "We're still your parents, we're just... not..." he looked toward the base of the tree, not wanting to look at Ichigo, though he knew he would have to eventually. "We just... aren't together anymore." A large knot seemed to have formed in his throut. He had trouble breathing, and couldn't say another word as silent tears ran down his mask, unnoticed by him.
Ichigo stared up at her father. When her parents had decided to take time away from each other, that was hard enough, but now it was permanant...?

Yume smiled. "I guess it will be okay... in the end." She looked to Insinia, then to Valemor. "Thanks."

A tear streamed down from Addei's eye, she knew how Ichigo took the first step towards this unfortunat event, so this couldn't possibly turn out well. She then looked up at Akiyama. He seemed torn himself which only helped to cause the tear. Adelina wanted so badly to say something, but she couldn't. It was probably such a shock to her, but even more so to Ichigo.

Sorka lowered her head to look Ichigo in the eye. "It's not the end of the world, sweetling, though it may seem so for a time. If you wish, you can speak to my daughter. She went through something similar when her father and I split up." Her voice was soft and soothing.

Ichigo looked at Sorka, her nose stinging with on-coming tears that she tried to fight back. "B-b-but..." she stuttered, not knowing what to do. She only wanted to talk to Kiriya. No one else. She looked at her dad, then to Sorka. "S-sorry," she mumbled, running off toward Yume and Kiriya's den.
Akiyama felt like crawling under a rock. "I'm sorry. I should have waited," he murmured, now wishing he'd resisted the feeling of wanting to tell someone. He kept his face turned to the base of the tree, not wanting to look at Sorka, and especially not Addei. At least Sorka had still been able to talk after he'd explained. "Sorry."

Yume watched the clouds slowly part. The chilling breeze stayed, but the sun shone a bit. "Maybe it'll work out like the weather. Getting bad at one point, then becoming good again eventually."

Sorka looked sadly after Ichigo. "I'll speak with her again, if you wish. And Sonea as well. She will discover that life goes on." She blinked and bowed her head, then looked back up at Akiyama. "Akiyama, there is no good way. You did your best, and she will realize that with time. Look at me," she demanded, trying to hold his eyes. "There was no better way. Waiting would not have helped, telling her earlier would not have helped. There was no good way to tell her."

Adelina was frozen. She couldn't explain it, but for one reason or another her body had gone into shock. She didn't know what to say, so no words came out. If it were anybody else who were in the same situation to tell her she would have been overflowing with advice or be the first to offer a shoulder. But with Akiyama it was different. "Akiyama..." She trailed off.
Slowly she wiped the tear, that was forming in her eye, away and tried to put a smiled on. "Akiyama everything is going to be o'kay. I know it."

Valemor nodded slowly."It is one of the best examples of life if you ask me. Completely unpredictable and yet....things always seem to work out."

Akiyama looked at Sorka, trying his best to obsorb what she said. When she'd finished, after a few moments, he sighed. "It just seems like there had to be a better way. And I missed it by far." He looked in the direction Ichigo had gone. "She'll have gone to Kiriya. She'll be okay." He lowered his eyes, thinking of his daughter. "Never have I felt this horrid," he muttered, still facing Ichigo's direction.
He gave a half-hearted smile and nodded to Adelina, shifting his eyes from the ground to her. "Sometimes it's good just to hear that it'll be okay," he sighed, shifting his shoulders to short of a shrug.

Yume laughed a little bit. "Yes, I guess you're right. Again," she squinted her eyes at the sun. "Always shining threw the darkness. I guess that it's true light."

"She will come to be fine," Sorka repeated. "As will you. I would advise staying busy for a time. Work on finding that warm winter den, and making it a home." She smiled sympathetically. "I had a pair of kits to raise, and that took me through the hardest stretch. All will be well with time."

"It was for the best." She whispered as she looked at the ground then back up to Akiyama. Adelina slowly aproached him, she stood straight infront of Akiyama and smiled, "I promise." She stated before she wrapped her arms around him. She pulled away quickly and took a step back, "Now who's up for that already planned den hunting?" She giggled and smiled hoping he would cheer up.

Valemor laughed a little too. "When do you think Akiyama will tell your daughter?"he asked.

Akiyama nodded at Sorka. "Staying busy is probably the best option. Thank you for the advice," he said gratefully, smiling.
He looked at Addei. "I- than-," he was surprised when she hugged him, but it felt sort of good to feel someone else. It made him feel like he was still in the Valley, not in his own miserable world. He stepped forward and hugged her in return. "Thanks," he whispered, stepping away slowly. He chuckled, feeling a bit better. "Oh, yeah, th-the den hunting. Good idea," he wanted to stay busy with something - anything. He knew Sorka was right.
