((Wow, that seems longer ago than in just two days in Pykiin-time.  )) "Definetly the greatest treasure," he echoed the last words, deep in thought. He frowned, lying his head on his paws as he thought about how he'd once considered Yume his greatest treasure. His heart ached, remembering how their love had faltered so quickly. He wondered how Yume was doing right now, and if she was upset, as he was about them seperating. He closed his eyes, attempting to block tears and his throat tightening. Maybe it wasn't as simple as he'd pretended it to be, making the pain go away. |

Addei turned to her side for a moment, she didn't say a word, but she could feel without asking him that he was upset. She didn't want to upset him any longer, so she laid there for a moment taking in everything. Taking a few blinks she then raised herself from the small 'bed' she created for herself. Slowly she made her way back to Akiyama, "It's alright," She whispered, "You don't have to hold it in." She then leaned into his face and nuzzled him atempting to wipe away the tears. "I'm here." ((Yeah, acutally it seems like weeks, and weeks.  )) |

Akiyama kept his eyes closed, not wanting to see the real world. "I... know," he mumbled weakly. " 'M s'rry," he breathed out. His ears folded down, feeling bad that Addei was now trying to comfort him when he felt like nothing would. He took in a deep, staggering breath, saying again, "I-I'm sorry."

"You do," Akiyama murmured, believing that Adelina truly did understand. His eyes opened just barely, and tiny, gentle slits. He breathed heavily, biting his lip just a bit. He'd never paid any attention to what Addei had been through with love, he'd noticed. "I'm sorry," he said, barley auditable.e

"Don't worry about it. It was nothing." She smiled though as she thought back to it, it hadn't seemed that way at the time, "I've grown since then, and I put it behind me. It was best for both me and my 'Kiin." She lifted her head and looked at him before she rested her head next to his.

Akiyama's eyelids felt heavy after the tears had finished. He kept himself awake, not wanting to fall asleep while he and Addei were still speaking. He wondered if he could put this behind him. He knew that, over time, he probably could. But completely? How long would that take? He sighed, picking his head up and looking at his paws. His nose stung a bit because of the tears. "I wish there was something I could say," he said after a while, not knowing what else he could say. "Thank you," he said, looking over to Addei for a moment, meeting her eyes as he mustered up all the strength he could to smile. He then looked back at his paws again.

"That's what friends are for, You shouldn't expect any less." She smiled. She knew it was time for some advice, but none was really coming to her so instead she looked him straight in the eye and smiled warmly. "Things may seem gloomy right now, but don't look at the bigger picture. Find something smaller, something better."

Akiyama laughed softly and smiled at Addei, lifting his head a bit, "You mean like now I have friends outside my pounce? I wouldn't count that as anything small, but definetly better." ((I need to go to bed. I've gotta' wake up early tomorrow, and I'm supposed to be in bed right now, plus I've still got to take a shower tonight, so....  Got to go. Talk to ya' tomorrow, bye!)) |

Addei smiled glad he was lightening up, "Yes." She replied as she rested her head back down, only this time she placed it on his paw.
She took a huge, silent breath and closed her eyes as she wrapped her tail around herself.

Akiyama lifted his head, smiling peacefully at Adelina. He rose his tail, then let it fall, resting his head on his other paw and closing his eyes. "Good night." He said softly, slowly relaxing.
Yume smiled at Valemor, "Well, it's not like we don't have time. Besides, it's night time." She got up, noticing that it was getting chilly. She got two blankets from the corner and walked back over to Valemor. She spread one out over Valemor, then laid down, covering herself with the other.

((*snickers* Well, let's just pretend that we've let about a half hour or so pass, unless you'd like to wait longer. Then you can just ignore my reply for a while. )) Akiyama awoke, wondering what had happened, why he was in a warm den, and why there was a light pressure on his paw. He quickly snapped his eyes open, shocked when a thought struck his mind. Had everything been a dream? He rose his head up swiftly, whiplash catching him and making him lower his head back down dizzily. Accidentally, he bumped into Addei gently. He rose his head up again, gasping lightly. "Sorry," he whispered, setting his head on his own paw again, awake. He chuckled softly at himself. Klutz, he thought to himself, thinking about how he's woken. He wondered - hoped - that Sorka was okay and had found some place safe to rest. Yet, he was glad that nothing had been a dream. |

Valemor smiled."Thank you."he said rapping the blanket around his body. He took one last look out the entry and then he laid his head on the ground and fell asleep.
