My pounce? she thoguht for a moment. She nodded and flushed a slight pink before she answered, "Well, the first two were originally myself and Chase. We were and I presume still are great friends, he's just gotten new things as have I that have interupted the relationship." She smiled not really wanting to go into too much detail, but carried on any how, "Chase grew atracted to his now mate Abby at a young age, and after he grew he recieved his elemental powers. He chose water which was no surprise after all, what else would he have chosen, fire wasn't him, and air didn't match him either. Earth wasn't quite right either." She smiled and looked at her feet that were padding softer than she had ever remembered.
She cleared her throat, "Blaine, as I mentioned earlier, and his twin sister Blair came after Chase and as the two grew they drifted as well. They both have their own families, and I just don't see them much." She paused and cleared her throat, "Danita came much later followed by Midori, they were best friends untill their own mates became their own concerns and then they simply stopped talking. Aside from the fact that Danita has two 'Kiin to raise, and she and her mate both have their powers to develope, Nita was one that kept most of us all together."
She let her thoughts process before she mentioned one of the last that would always hold a special place in her heart. “Maiara…” She stated as she trailed off, “She was hatched blind; she was so helpless when she finally appeared I just couldn’t help, but step in and act like a mother. She’s grown since then and in fact she’s growing this coming season.” Adelina smiled proudly as if Ara was actually her daughter, and not just another Pykiin she had just taken in. “There are others, but I’m not as close to them as I am with the first six.” She shook her head, “Not that our pounce isn’t close, the others just seem to come and go constantly it seems as though I never get a word with them.” She smiled and then blushed deeply realizing she had just babbled terribly and tried to make up for it by asking, “And yours?”
