Rihani and Jace raced around the corner of the small path, each trying to get ahead of the other.
"Imma beet yoo!" Jace shouted, his huge paws making soft padding sounds on the ground as he pulled further ahead of Rihani.
Rihani grinned but kept quiet as she sped up, using her full speed, Her slim body almost touching the ground as she raced. She smirked slightly as she passed him and turned the next corner.
A squeak escaped her mouth and she skidded to a stop, dust puffing up around her. She slid a bit, and she stopped just as her paws touched the water of the small pond.
"Jace, stop!" She yelled as he raced around the bend. But he didn't hear her in time, and as he tried to stop, he ran right into her. His large furry body took Rihani and hisself into the cool water.
"Uhhg!" Rihani said, before bursting out laughing and coughing up water at the same time.
Jace came up, a confused look on his white face. He saw Rihani laughing, and he started to laugh also. "Sorry!" He told her, grabbing her small body and tossing her onto his back. He grinned as he walked back to the shore and flopped her onto the sand. He lay down next to her, still laughing.
They were quite comical to see together, for she was tiny, and he was huge; almost the size of a full grown Pykiin already.
"Sorry," he repeated again, and chuckled.
"Its fine. Buuut, the important thing is...." She paused for dramatic affect, "I still beat you!" She laughed.
"But that isnt fair!" He protested. "You have the advantage of being small and graceful. I don't have that advantage, since I'm a big furry giant." He said, then added, "Plus, i get ten points for that amazing crash landing."
"Oh, alright." Rihani said, pushing him with her paw. "But only because your my best friend."
