Change is a good thing 
This is just a short and expanding list of things that have changed or will change within the valley to fit the new roleplay-oriented format.
Have changed:
- Pykiin trying for elements can no longer obtain elements through PMing me and answering a question - there will be a designated "ceremony" every once in a while for one eligible pykiin from each pounce to receive their element. However, this will nix the question part of the process! That's right, you will no longer have to wait until I'm online to PM me and then scramble to answer a question in ten minutes. More information on the new process later.
- Special items can only be used during the elemental ceremonies (more to come).
- Birthday gifts now consist of only special items.
Will change:
- Growing and alteration slots are going to be handled differently. Now, instead of having one slot for each alteration you want to make, there will be one slot per pykiin, and you will be able to use as many items on that pykiin as you so desire. More information on the new process later.
- Breeding opportunities will be scattered throughout the year instead of piled into a season. More information on this later.
- There will be a significant decrease in new pykiin coming into the community.
- Plot advances, new roleplay goals, character development opportunities, and NPCs will become more frequent.
- The forum boards will be re-organized.
- USD customs will become more frequent, but will be monitored closely so they don't overpower roleplay advances and giveaways.
- The website will be getting a makeover to fit many of the new changes.
- A map of the Valley and surrounding areas will soon be available.
- .... lots of special, super-secret surprises >.>
