I'm not sure if this is a Celebration-type thingy, or a General. Either way, SQUEE!!! Okay, so. Yesterday in Photography I got an invitation to meet for the Academic Decathlon Team, which happened today after school. I lost the invitation, but luckily my friend was able to help me. ^_^ Anyways, the teacher is GREAT!!! She is my favorite teacher, I think. ^_^ She's nice, funny, knows more languages than English (yay!) and she's just overall an awesome teacher. Basically all that we did for the hour was talk and grab study guides and papers. They call our humungous study guide "The Six Inches of Knowledge". xD Seriously, it's four or five inches now, and I just realized that several of the tabs that they provided are empty. xD Awesome! And then we also got a book called Bless Me, Ultima, and a CD with Latin American music to listen to. Oh, I suppose that I didn't mention - we're studying Latin America, with a focus on Mexico (not the most interesting topic in my book, but it's a culture I've yet to study, so yay!). And Choco is joining, which'll be great. Eep! There's just so much else I could be talking about, but I don't know where to start! I'm so excited for this - it'll be great. <3 ;D *dances* Now, there's a new episode of House on, apparently, so I shall now be watching the TV (and replying to this.... ).

I love school, Blondie. Ever since I got out of Elementary (the worst six/seven (if ya' count Kindergarten) of my life. >_o), and even then I "liked" it (but I didn't know just how awesome school got back then, so....). Academic Decathlon is... well, I think that a fairly accurate explanation of it is when a bunch of students get together (the ones that have As Bs or Cs and like to study/learn) and learn about something as a whole, then go to compete in competitions throughout the year. But that sounds boring, and this is the most awesome thing of all time, so that isn't a very good way to state it. XD Thankies, guys. <3 I just found out today that we have to dress formally for our competitions.... So what does "formally" mean? I'm all confuzzled, our teacher is new and the two guys that were pretty much leading the meeting basically said "suit", "suit" and "suit". Well... girls can't really wear suits to these things.... How about a dress? A skirt? Dress pants? What shirt? A blouse? Is it like, Prom or Homecoming formal, or is it just a nice dress, if it is a dress? o.O;; Thankies to my friends who led the meeting today. xD But now I have fifty pages of the Six Inches of Knowledge to read for Tuesday, plus homework, so... heh, Panda's life has no time now. XD Fwee!!!
