Tyler walked up to the Dryad, a small kiin huddled close to his side. The kiin matched his father quite a bit, with the white body and cyan stripes. But that was pretty much the only thing alike with them. Tyler, a big fluffy adult Pykiin, was practically a completely different species that his small child, who had fins and was called a Syren.
"Don't worry, Elsren. everyone will love you." Tyler told him, leaning down to nuzzle the quivering Syren kiin.
"Bu..but dad! Everyone just keeps staring at me, li..like I'm some freak!" He replied, stuttering a bit, as he usually did when he was upset. He looked around, not surprised to see a couple of unknown Pykiin watching him.

Blazion wandered over to the Dryad. It was one of the very few times he had left the pond. It felt weird at first to be exposed to air instead of water,but he was slowly getting used to the feeling. He wondered silently if they're were any other kiin Syrens that he hadn't met yet. He only of a few other Syrens.
Blaze couldn't help but hope that he would meet some newborn Syrens since most of the others were adults. When he saw Tyler he stood they're starring. His eyes flickered to younger one in shock and then back to Tyler. He hadn't thought that it would be that easy to find another of his kind. He looked at Tyler confused. How could a normal pykiin have a Syren son?

Elsren looked up to see another kiin staring at him. Big surprise. He thought angrily, until he realized that the other kiin was actually like him; a Syren. "Dad!" He whispered, staring right back at the other kiin.
"What, Elsren?" He asked, following his son's gaze. Seeing the other Syren, he grinned. "Go say hello, Elsren. It will be nice for you to meet other Syrens." He told him, pushing him gently into the Kiin's direction.
Hesitating a bit, Elsren trotted over to the other Syren. "Hello." He said quietly, his eyes watching the other Kiin intently.

Blaze watched Elsren approuch him. He was still curious about a pykiin being the father of a Syren,but he decided that he would be able to ask soon enough. He smiled and practically hopped over to the Syren."Hi!" he said excitedly. "I'm Blazion,but you cna call me Blaze. That's what everyone else calls me." he was so excited that he was talking so fast the words folding into one,but he didn't notice. "What's your name?"

Elsren just sat there for a moment, surprised by Blaze's introduction. "Hello, Blaze. I am Elsren. I don't have a nickname though." He said, smiling just a bit. "It is a pleasure to meet you. You are the first of my kind that I have met, other than my mother." He spoke with an odd formality to his words, which usually baffled his father, since Elsren probably had better grammar than Tyler.
