((Not a very creative title, but who cares. This is to alleviate early morning boredom, and introduce some pykiin that haven't been rp'd much. Feel free to join.))
Wilwarin wandered into the Dryad's clearing, not quite sure how she had gotten there. She certaintly couldn't have retraced her steps, so she decided this was where she'd have to stay. She'd never find her way back to the settlement, even if she'd cared to do so.
Decision made, she looked around curiously. While she supposed she could live alone, life was much more interesting with other pykiin around.

Mizuki was all a blur in the trees. Her swifts wings couldn't be a match for anyone, she'd always win. Pure joy rushed past her face and mane, nothing would stop her until she arrived at the Dryad.
Landing, Mizuki looked at an unfamiliar pykiin with bright eyes. "Greetings, any reason why you are here today?" Her voice was soft, light. "I am Mizuki."

Rin looked up, startled by the sudden appearance of a pale grey female. "Ah, no particular reason. Other than I suppose I'll be living in the vicinity in the foreseeable future." She tilted her head at the winged pykiin. "I'm Wilwarin. Do you live here too?"

Mizuki chuckled softly, "I see." Not really, she didn't really understand what Rin meant. "I'm not sure yet, to be honest. I rarely hang around in one place, though-" She pointed up at the Dryad where a grey and yellow gemfruit hung silently. "but I could settle down after they hatch."

"Ah, what a sweet little fruit. Your child, I presume?" She studied the nearby branches with interest. "So, are there a great many pykiin here? Living alone isn't much fun."

"Ofcourse." There was a little gloating in her tone, Mizuki was proud to have them. "They should be hatching soon though." Her tail curled around her legs, "Indeed there are. Maybe too many, but I do think many of them don't live here. Most who do, belong to the same pounce." Mizuki shrugged, she really didn't have a true answer to Rin's question.

Rin furrowed her brow as she tried to make sense of Mizuki's explanation, but she gave up with a little shake and changed the subject. "So, is this valley very large?" Her gaze was drawn back to the gemfruit, and the great tree that bore it. "And what, exactly, is this tree?"

Mizuki was surprised at Rin's question about the Dryad, her face also had it written all over it too. "This is the Dryad! She's very... important to the Valley. It's were all kiin come from." Instinct told her to look at her future kits, maybe as if they didn't hear it. "The Valley is big. But I havent been around long enough to know."

"Oh." Rin looked at the tree a little oddly. "Perhaps I'd better say hello, then." She paced toward the great trunk, still feeling that this was all a bit strange.

((I'll rp the gemmies too, if that's ok with you x3))
She was about to say something but closed her mouth. At Rin's touch of the Dryad's trunk, Mizuki's two gemfruits rocked side to side before growing still. Energy beamed as she looked and pointed up. "Eh! Look, they moved! Maybe they'll fall and hatch soon. Then I could..." She paused for a moment, thinking about getting ahead of herself again. "Or I could wait." She said smugly.

Wilwarin glanced back at Mizuki. "Whatever you say," she murmured, rolling her eyes as she returned to her inspection of the Dryad. She wondered if everyone here was like this female, or if there were some sane pykiin around. If the others were like this, she might not be staying here as long as she'd originally thought.
((Go right ahead. I am amused that we managed to pick two pykiin who cannot understand each other at all.))

Mizuki stared into the back of Wilwarin's head. She thought if she stared long enough, the other female would come to her senses that kits were the best thing. Oh and that then she would like her kits after they hatched.
The yellow gemfruit swayed a bit more unlike the grey one who was pretty calm. Mizuki jumped with excitement. "I should figure out some names... hmmm... how about Saori? Or..." The grey female started listing off some names, repulsed by some though adored others.

Wilwarin turned to briefly stare at the other female. She was totally kit obsessed! Not that Rin was un-motherly, she could see herself with kiin, but she wouldn't be subsumed by them! And this thinking of names before-hane - rediculous. She didn't even know what they looked like, or even their genders. How could she possibly pick a name?

Mizuki erased her stare and peired at Rin curiosly. "Whats on your mind? Usually most pykiin are happy with kits." Her tone was a matter of factly kind of way. Though she frowned a bit, hoping the hatchlings wouldn't 'hear'.

"They're only gemfruits," Rin pointed out. In her mind, her voice was perfectly reasonable. "You don't even know if they'll be boys or girls, and you're picking out names?" She shook her head, turning back to the Dryad. "It just seems a bit odd to me."
