...feels as if she owes you all an apology.
I've been out of it for the past month, and the week I was gone and at camp didn't help at all. I feel as if since I'm so close to you all, you deserve to know what's going on.
It all started when the people I was staying with started dropping hints about me not being welcome anymore. I wasn't just freeloading, I helped pay bills and bought groceries...but it wasn't working out...the wednesday before I went to camp I talked to my mom and we decided it would be best for me to just move back home until I found a new place and while waiting for a notice from school. I also have been waiting to hear back from the school i'm transferring from.
I woke up thursday, getting ready to pack up my car, my cats, and my stuff, to see a text message from my mom...One of my youth, that I'm really close to, her mom had passed away due to cancer early thursday morning. She's an only child, and her dad is non-existent in her life. when she tried to contact him, he called the cops on her for harassment.
Friday was the visitation, and while I can't go into details, an adult friend was there as well, and when she went to go pick up her kids from their sitter...it was bad...and I'l leave it at that. Saturday was the funeral and also Logan's 3rd birthday.
Any who, the Woman I mentioned, her aunt was going with us as a chaperone to camp, and since her husband works off shore down at Grand Isle, we basically forced her to go to camp with us >.> cause we didn't want to leave her by herself with the 2 and 4 year olds.
The first day we get to camp (Monday) was an eye opener. We had to walk everywhere, and we were walking a mile from the dorms to where we ate and had worship, and then another mile to wrec.
Monday night...well...technically it was Tuesday morning, at 1:00 am the fire alarm was set off and we had to evacuate our dorm. what set the alarm off was the 2 year old, Lawson. He has asthma, and had awoken at a quarter til 1, and couldn't breathe. He was croupy and his finger tips were starting to turn white. They had him in the bathroom with the shower going really hot so the steam could break up the croup. When they opened the door to get him a new shirt (his was soaked through) and when they opened the door, the steam hit the alarm and set off the entire building.
Tuesday one of my girls hurt her knee, Wednesday she didn't stay off of it and we had to spend 5 hours in Express Care >.> it wasn't very express...but we had to keep her leg/knee in a knee immobilizer until we got home. Thursday we all had breakdowns...long story there >.>
Friday one of my kids was diagnosed with a staff infection on his knee, and the other had a major asthma attack and she didn't bring her inhaler with her
I have never been so happy to get home from camp.
Then when I got home my dad had let the cats completely trash the house...there was fur everywhere, and my komode had broken and was leaking water everywhere >.<
**sigh** but it's all getting straightened out now, and while I'm still unpacking from camp and doing laundry, and I finally just yesterday heard from the school and found out when I'm supposed to go register...now I just have to find a place to live.
The plus side of the new place and new school is I'm closer to home...but Knight will be 30 minutes away...and it's killing me cause I haven't seen him in over 2 weeks...
so if I seem kinda out of it, or if I've had an attitude with you, I'm soooooo sorry x(
