Before she could rise from sleep, she noticed a certain someone was missing. She ruffled her tails and rose with a bothered look. Her eyes tried to seek her companion. She felt wary without her.
Auriel may be a protective Rodeli, but she has never left Doveva's side. She picked her pace, and finally found Auriel; eating berries. Her heart slowed down a bit, and a side of relief covered her face.
"Auriel, you had me scared there for a moment." Doveva said to the small rodeli.
"Oh, sorry, thought you'd be asleep for another hour or so." Auriel answered, taking in another few berries.
"Oh..." Doveva lowered her head and ate some berries.
Her ears picked up a sound, and she looked around quickly. "Auriel, did you hea-" Before she could finish her sentence a purple pykiin had came barreling right into the group.
"Oh, sorry." Laura said, standing up and shaking her pelt. She took one glimpse at Doveva and grew hot in the face. "Ugh, your ugly!" She lied. Doveva looked at her with sad eyes and Auriel jumped on Doveva's head and started to yell at Laura.
"Hey, watch it! Your just jealous Doveva is much prettier then you!"
"Hardly." Laura rolled her eyes.
