The wind manipulated the trees with gentle force and as they swayed silently in the breeze, a small pounce lay silently underneath. In the shade, an icy blue female by the name of Kezzy curled up next to a ball of fur Kiin that had the markings of a wild cat. Alessa was her name, and for once the ball of fur lay still...and quiet.. Kezzy dragged her tongue across the kiin's forehead, something she would never have been able to do had the kiin been awake. She smiled softly, allowing the shade to cool herself down.
Above, in the tree looking down lay a large dark purple male. His small irridesent fairy wings curled against his back, relaxed. His slender tail slinked down and dangled above Kezzy's head. His pelt was of midnight orientation and gave off a sleek look. Small cyan orbs illuminated his fur and mocked a starry sky. His small muzzle was rested on a branch, his paws curled around it. What a lazy day, just a difference in the Valley to their previous home at the University.
Kezzy peered up at Tarot, hushing her voice as not to wake Alessa. "I'm so glad to be here." She smiled, closing her eyes.
Tarot rolled his eyes, slightly annoyed. He didn't reply.

Nakao soared on his wings, the large green adult, enjoyed the air rushing past his face. His new aquired dark mask and tipped fur gave him a more... serious look. Though he was still the same for when he was a kiin. Atop his head, clung a small fragile female pykiin. Her wings were thin and delicate. Her legs with soft butterflies and swirls to match her small lavender body. Her name was Yulanna and the green pykiin was her nephew.
Yulee was shaking with fear, her eyes a wide at the wind rushing past her with such force. After all, she was only about the size of a large butterfly and being blown away was a potential danger. "Slow down! Slow down!" She squeaked, shut her eyes and hid deeper into her nephew's mane. "Sorry, Auntie. I didn't think you'd be scared." He frowned, though kept his eyes ahead of him, looking for a place to land.
He found a place with three pykiin. Probably a small pounce by the looks of it. Maybe new too. He landed quietly, folding and refolding his larger wings incase any loose feathers decided to irritate him. His voice smooth and casual, he greeted these strangers with a smirk.
"I see you're new here? Welcome then. I guess." He shrugged, mostly uninterested. He'd seen many new pykiin before, they weren't any different... much. Yulee was still shaking but dared to open her eyes to take a look at where they were now.

Tarort watched silently above, his tail was the only part of his body that moved, the rest of him was still. His face remained emotionless as he looked over the landing Pykiin. A small glimpse of the purple Pykiin with the fairy wings seemed to spark his interest.
Kezzy smiled a friendly smile at Nakao, one paw sweeping over Alessa's face, gently caressing her. She nodded softly, there was an elegance about her nature.
"Thank you, I'm Kezzy and this kiin is Alessa. We just came from the University..what a lovely home you have here." Her voice angelic which seemed to match her carring eyes.
Kezzy still amazed that Alessa was fast asleep and not..every where.
The small kiin in Kezzy's arms cooed silently in her sleep. She seemed sweet and innocent in her sleeping state, but when awake all could break loose.
Tarot with out warning pounced down from the tree, his large muscular body seeming to over stand Nakao. He smirked a very smug smile before he'd slowly walk around him now facing Yulanna. "Please forgive my pounce mate and her rudeness, I am Tarot..and a pleasure to meet you." He seemed to be only interested in Yulanna at the moment, but he sooned pryed his eyes from Yulana's to wink generiously at Nakao.

Nakao gave a small smile. His face lightened up to awknowledge the icy female and the little kiin. "A pleasure to meet you Kezzy and Alessa." He lowered his voice, for Alessa's benefit and maybe Kezzy too. "I'm Nakao and this is Yulanna." His voice didn't faulter, it was quiet and warm.
Yulee stared at Kezzy. It wasn't on purpose, it was a force of habit when she met strangers. "Heh... hello. Nice... nice to meet you." She stumbled in her words, a blush creeped up onto her cheeks. The embarrassment she felt. A need to escape it, Yulee hid her face back into her nephew's mane.But another voice pulled her back into the real world. Her eyes wandered over to a pretty starry male.
"It-its ok... I...I'm Yulanna." She hesitated, tightning her grip on Nakao's dark horns. "That's my fa..fae name. You can call me... Yulee." She gave a small smile but looked down.
Nakao's double mask soon turned into a sharp look at Tarot. He didn't comment. Just flicked his tail in annoyance, unphazed by Tarot's larger size.

Kezzy's eyes closed tight as she gave Nakao and Yulanna a large friendly smile. Kezzy was radiant and gave off a sweet aura. She gently dragged her tongue across Alessa's head before looking back up to Nakao. She blinked softly, her long lashes seeming to extend a little longer then most Pykiin's.
"Please to meet you both, it's truly a great thing to meet new friendly faces." She said her voice also warm and soft.
Tarot ignored the sharp glance from Nakao with a gloatful smirk. He began to move in slowly from Kezzy's side, gently planting each paw with lithe. His tail curled at the end with anticipation as he watched Yulanna studder. His smile grew into a wider grin before it'd slowly fade. There was an uncertain nonchalant about him, something dark..but never the less hard to figure.
"Yulee..Hmm, I refuse to call you anything but Yulanna for it is the most beautiful name spoken to me." He gently begin to sit on his haunches, him large tail curling to his side began to abstract Kezzy's view of the newcomers.
Kezzy huffed gently, a little frazzled with Tarot's actions. There wasn't a mean bone in Kezzy's body, even when someone was acting out of line. She submissively spoke to Nakao, stretching her head gently to see him, careful not to wake Alessa. "Is your pounce very large, my friend?"
She pondered, not knowing the adverage family size of the Valley.

Nakao turned his head under his wing, pretending to catch a loose feather. While trying to avoid unesscary eyes, he made a face as if it was a yuck fest or other. What he'd give to seriously hide at the moment. What made him feel more awkward was that his aunt was on his head, Tarot was... well actually, Nakao didn't know what the starry male was doing.
"I don't like how he's acting..." He mumbled under his breathe, only close enough for his aunt to hear. Yulee caught his words and frowned, "It's ok." Her words were much more smooth unlike her choppy current conversation. She gave his head a light thump with her tail before returning back to her feeble talk with Tarot. "I.. I guess. So... so where d-did you come f...from?"
Nakao, relieved to have something to talk about, smiled at Kezzy. He was thinkig - my herione. "If you count a pounce of 13, sure. But I haven't met them all yet. You should ask my mom that. She is 'head' of our pounce anyways." He shrugged, his voice wondering off.

Tarot's face lit up, triumphant at the moment. His glee stricken voice was capitalizing his under tone of saracasm as he shot a glance at Nakao, hearing a small whisper come from him. "And what a lovely family you come from..". He slowly rose to his feet now stepping closer to Yulee to be by her side. His cyan starry covered pelt shimmered radiantly in the summer's sun. He perked his ear to turn towards Yulee now, no longer interested in what Nakao was whispering. "We came just north of here, from the Pykiin University. A dainty place filled with eager learning minds. A lot different from this place.." He shot a small glare towards Nakao, before turning back to Yulee. "Yulanna, I am very intrigued by this place, perhaps you could show me around some time?" He smiled warmly at her, it was a genuine smile, unlike most of his actions and for once held some substance.
Kezzy tried to ignore her pounce mate's actions. Out of everyone in the pounce, Tarot would be the only to bump heads with her. Alessa kicked gently in her sleep, softly yelping as if she were dreaming of chasing something. Kezzy's eyes brightened at the sight of the small kiin and she quickly looked up at Nakao,
"That is quite a rather large family and would make our small pounce look like the size of a rodelli." She snickered softly, her large animated eyes peering up at him. "I love kiin, hopefully some day soon will have my own family. Alessa here is my adoptive daughter..I found her at the university. Quite a handful she is." She nodded looking down at Alessa, her tone changing softly, "Aren't you..?"

Yulee marveled at the shimmering stars on Tarot's side, she'd only seen something like that once. And it came from the Yue and Solar family whom she was barely aquinted with. She flicked her tail back and forth, debating on at a thought. "U...university? A place filled with... h-humans?" The word sent chills down her spine. She had a bad encounter with them before, but didn't remember all the details.
Unaware of the tention between the two males, the fairy excepted his invitation with a nod, though it was hesitant. She peered down until her face was above Nakao's. Her nephew nodded solemly, apparently hed given up. Lightly, she darted off his head and landed infront of Tarot's paws. The size comparison was very noticable.
One more thing, "You better not leave her alone or behind, you hear me?" There was a trace of surpressed venom in his low whisper to Tarot. Nakao couldn't do anything more, but glare. Turning his attention back to Kezzy, he was in a much light mood.
"I understand where you're coming from. Maybe just about a year ago, my pounce was only me, mom, little sister and aunt. You'd be surprise how fast small pounces grow." He chuckled quietly. "Alessa here is quite a unique girl. I've never seen many pykiin with so many natural looking stripes." He furrowed the top of his mask, waiting for Kezzy to finish her sentence. "Aren't I what...?"

Tarot nodded, his emotionless eyes followed Nakao's as he grew more bold in front of him. He narrowed his eyes offering him a slight glare, carefully hiding it from Yulee. He then turned, without replying, his mood suddenly changing. He gently smiled at her, shaking his head.
"No humans at this University..merely ran by Pykiin of our kind. It's a place where all pykiin can study and learn about anything they'd like. You would love it there Yulanna..it's just as wonderous as you." He bowed gently, before offering her a sincere smile.
Kezzy quietly watched the display of actions and emotions. She wasn't much for conflict so she remained quiet untill she was spoken too.
"She is my special girl." she smiled calmly before looking back up at Nakao, "Are you or your family expecting any Gemfruit? I'm excited to see all the new borns."

Yulanna ignored most of the quiet menacing air between everyone, though she couldn't help but feel a little worried for their sake. She relaxed and let her wings flutter in the relief she felt. No humans. "R-really? So is it a large place? I've never been f-far from the Valley before."
"Indeed, I can tell." Nakao said while moving to the nearest tree to lean on. He sighed in contentment. "My mom and little sister are going to be around the Dryad to greet the new members of our pounce. Though, not of our own. It would definetly be interesting if I recieved more siblings." He chuckled lightly, thinking of Leelee before his face turned solemn.
"I don't know if I want to come though. How should I say it? A bittersweet memory?" His eyes stared straight ahead, as if he was studying the tree's ridges.

Tarot shook his head, releasing a hearty laugh. He sat beside Yulee, his tail curling around his side to slowly curl around her tail. "Dear, Yulanna..perhaps one day I will take you there, and you wont have anything to fear after that. Traveling is my favorite thing.." He nodded silently, quielty trying to ease her with his touch.
"Will you have kiin of your own some day?" She look up at him, puzzled. "There are a few Pykiin that will be given Gemfruit in my pounce that cannot look after the Kiin." she shot a small glare to Tarot before kindly looking back to Nakao, "I've offered to care for them, raise them as my own. I believe I will have to look after six kiin." Kezzy's smile widened at the thought of her own kiin. "Well including Alessa..eleven.." she teased, knowing how Alessa can be quite a handful.
Alessa moved gently in Kezzy's arms, twitching her ears to the strange voices around her, yet she didn't allow it to disturb her beauty sleep. She softly whimpered before turned on her other side and falling back asleep.

Yulee nodded, her eye sparkling at the thought but reality soon dawned on her. "Traveling is easy for you! Yes yes, indeed. You are much much bigger th-than I, and flying great distances isn't h-hard." Her voice stumbled when she felt Tarot's tail around hers. She flinched a bit, taken by surprise before calming down.
Nakao shook his head, "Not anytime soon. I don't think I should have kiin until I find someone that I want to spend my life with. It would be hard for the kiin to never really meet his/her mom. Then wonder why mom and dad aren't anything more but just friends." He was now looking down, drawing a swirls before tracing them again in the dirt. His eyes were expressionless.
"But uh, I'm probably bringing this whole party down." His mood lightened up, rubbing the back of his head in apology. "My mom expects seven kiin! And I've always known one to be a handful. Nova is her name, and she's a flitterkiin. Talks like there's no tomorrow." Nakao rolled his eyes in humor.

Tarot shrugged, a bit modest. "It just takes some pratice..also, sometimes you just need to be forced to do things and you suddenly have a greater appreciation for things that once seemed so hard." He starred longingly into the distance for a breif moment before moving his eyes back to Yulee. "I'd like to take you anywhere.." he nodded offering a toothly smile.
Kezzy nodded softly while watching Nakao, "That is a wise outlook. Soulmating is the best thing for a family. Unfortunetly a lot of young Pykiin will be blessed with some kiin this season who aren't soulmated, nor are they ready to take on the responsibilites of parenthood. This is my opportunity to have my family. I most likely will never seek a soulmate, not too much interested in mates. Everyone i've seen in the past turned out to have something seriously wrong with them." She blinked, peacefully looking him over.
"I know of a pykiin who would just die to go on a date with you. She's a pretty pykiin too, almost looks like myself," Kezzy softly snorted as she laughed at her own joke, the innocense in her eyes were as large as a kiin's. She made a good den mother because she was pure, and wholesome. Mama Kez was her mostly known name through out her pounce.

Yulee felt a pang of guilt. She didn't dismiss his stare in the distance, and took it as her partially her fault. "I-if you want, we could go there. But... I don't think I'll be up for such a long trip." Her face was turning into a deep pink, she felt the idea was a bit absurd.
"Mates! Don't get me started on them. No wait - I have no problem with others having a mate, but I'm not ready for any of that stuff yet. I've only been an adult for a few weeks." He chuckled, his body rumbling at the thought. "I'm sure that's true too. But you don't seem to young, no offence. If someone can handle a bundle of energy in a kiin, I think they're ready for lots of kiin." Nakao raised his mask at Kezzy, apparently talking about her.
"Sure, go on the date with the weird guy who doesn't meet enough people or pykiin." He snorted, crossing his arms at the thought. True, it would be a weird sight, him on a date. Wondering the many things that might go wrong.

Tarot eased up a bit, this time he would ignore Nakao for fear of making Yulee uncomfortable. He knew the tension between the males could possibly drive her away, which seeming weird enough that he cared. Tarot, for the first time was sincere about wanting to spend a little time with another Pykiin, and for once it seemed it wasn't all about what he would want. He gazed over Yulee as her face blushed which instantly sent his lips to curve into a smile.
"Yulanna, we could go another night or day. You know, when you felt ready." Tarot, being normally a rather vein creature didn't allow much room for substance. He usually attracted the same 'type' of female. Yulee radiated some sort of degree of innocense that Tarot favored. He wanted to learn more about her..perhaps be her friend. He couldn't tell himself what was going on through his thoughts, instead he fought it a bit.
Kezzy nodded, agreeing with Nakao, "I know what you mean, but girls are different. They love..love. You need to find a nice practical girl to settle down with, someone who isn't all starry eyed and whatnot.." she preached quietly to him as if a mother would speak to their son. She knew from previous experiences with pounce mates about growing and finding love. It had been years since her kiin-hood and she considered herself quite older then most., yet she was able to have a good insight about relationships.
"You don't seem like the 'weird guy' type to me.." she smiled, reassuring him.
