Yulanna was in the mists of her thoughts. Unaware of her actions, the fairy stroked her hair, running her little paws through it to free it of any loose tangles. It was one of those strange fae quirks that faeries always picked up. Her face returned back to normal color which made it easier to talk, sort of. "I guess. But it would indeed be awhile before I want to l-leave home. D-do you have a home now th-that you're here?" She snuck a look at him before turning to look back at Kezzy, wondering the same thing for her.
Nakao shook his head, "Yeah thanks. Love is complicated. Plus, it's hard to think about it! Especially for me." He grinned at Kezzy's mother like speech to a son. The corner of his eye sparked a thought. "You know, when I was a little kiin, Mom never told me about girls. So I don't know much about them. Like, what ticks them off, makes them happy, etc. I can't go to my Dad about it. He's head over heels for some one already..." His voice trailed off, signaling a deep pain that he'd been harboring for awhile. "Are you here to find yourself a pounce? It should take awhile if you don't know who you're looking for." The topic was a bit random and indeed abrupt, but it killed him to much to talk about his dad. It was as if an arrow shot through his chest, pounding at his heart until it hurt.

Tarot sat patiently, curling his tail to his side. His eyes were focused in on Yulanna, smirking gently. He tilted his head slightly at her words, nodding. "Don't get me wrong, Yulanna, I would love to steal you away..however I was merely talking about just a small short trip, my dear." He comforted her with a small smile, the way his muzzle scrunched up let made it obvious that it was a sincere smile. "Yes, we have currently seeked out the largest den possible, considering that one of our pouncemates is kiin obessed." He shot a small glare at kezzy from her side before slowly looking back at Yulee. "I hardly stay there though, with this breeding season I'm sure it's going to be quite..stuffed."
Kezzy ignored Tarot's rude commentary as she paid her fullest attention to Nakao. She crossed one paw slowly over the other. As a small abrupt breeze came it gently blew Kezzy's long locks which looked as shiny as a sheet of silk. "Well, to be truthful, Nakao, most males don't really ever find those truths out and spend their wholes lives in search for meaning of the opposite gender. Luckily, with some insight, you could possibly be shown the light." she said with a joking tone. "But really.." she paused, instantly reading his emotions and facial expressions. She frowned softly as she was a very sympathetic pykiin. "A pounce we have already, but I am looking to settle down. Perhaps raise my kiin here in this nice and quiet place." She suddenly felt off topic even though she was answering a question he had asked. "So, is your father older or would you say he's about my age?" she asked, curiosity stringing in her mind.

Yulanna laughed, it was like the sound of wind chimes on a breezy day. She wrapped her tail around her legs, "That would be interesting, indeed. Though I'm sure my s-sister wouldn't be all to happy. Or my n-nephew for that matter." Her eyes turned wide, bleak. But it still held a glint of happiness in it. "Kiin are wonderful, but I'm a-afraid they are too big for me. I barely pass for a bonded's height!" As an example, she made a little leap (big for her) up into the air and landed on Tarot's head, right behind his horns. Looking down, she addressed him. "See what I mean? I am very very little."
Nakao's eyes turned cold, his posture sitffened. And before he could wait to think, he snapped, "How should I know? And why do you need to know about him?" He was almost yelling, anger and frustration boiled in his chest. The seconds passed before he got to get his thoughts through. To his horror, he realized that he'd just snapped at Kezzy, his friend. He slumped to the ground, wings folding over himself and paws covering his eyes to hide. "Sorry. I didn't mean to snap. Do forgive me. I guess you deserve an explanation." He said, mumbling under his arm. "That's a good idea. I live in a tree house with my mom and little sister, it's next to a waterfall with a hidden cave near the mountain side. It's pretty peaceful except for the occational outbursts of flitterkiin energy." He chuckled softly, feeling uneasy even behind the cover of his arm.

Tarot's eyes brightend as he watched Yulee pounce above him and land on his head. He was very gentle with his movement, though his hearty laugh made his head bob slightly. "Well, now that I have you..perhaps i'll steal you." He chuckled once again, very softly, lowering his head gently enough to allow Yulee to slide off. "Maybe one day, you'll make wee kiin and they'll be just as beautiful as you." He said, his smile seeming to fade at his words. A sudden rush of discomfort ran down his spine before he'd quickly change the subject. "Kiin aren't really a big deal anyways. I am having a few this season, but hopefully, i'll never have to meet them." He suddenly stood looking a little too proud, his expression was clearly in dismay.
Kezzy's kind face didn't seem to budge much. The only sign of change in her mood as Nakao expressed his clearly angry statement was the sense of shock she felt and sorrow for him. She lowered her head so that she could look at him as he hid. Her ear twitched with curiosity as she listened to him, his voice a bit muffled. "Nakao, I am truly sorry if I had said anything wrong. It's okay to be angry, perhaps talking about the situation might make it easier to deal with?" She stretched one paw out, gently caressing it over the top of his head offering a peaceful smile. Her voice was very soothing and calm as she patiently awaited his reaction. "I'm you're friend, you can confide in me."

Yulanna shook with Tarot's laughter, she was that light and fragile! She fluttered her wings, trying to keep still in one place. A bit eager to slide off now, she slid down his head and to the ground with a soft thump. "Steal me away?" Her voice was with quiet alarm, she's expierenced being stolen once, but it poured with curiousity. Before he could answer he question, she blushed. Her face turning into a rosey red. "I don't think I will. There's s-someone who's already taken my heart. I don't think..." Her voice trailed off, remembering some kind of mysterious sadness before studying his Tarot's face. "You don't like kiin?
Nakao breathed heavily, his body slowly rising and falling then uncovered his face. He turned his eyes away, drinking in the site of the calm trees and Kezzy's soft paw on his head. It was a moment of silence for him, so he could form coherent words to feelings and thoughts. He shuffled and reshuffled his wings, wondering if it would help him think. With a sigh, he began. "My... Dad, or C'teresi, isn't a bad guy. But he has little love for me, everytime I talk to him, it's just one or two words from him. 'Sure thing kiddo' or 'You're grown'. He's got soulmate now, I understand that he's happy with her and his new kiin. My half brother and sister. For them it's like, 'Look at my wonderful kiin! They'll grow up to be mighty wonderful' or 'Look! I've got gemfruit, I'm a happy papa.' He acts as if I'm just somebody there. I wonder if he does care about his other kiin, or just his and his mate's kiin." His voice was breaking near the beginning, as Nakao fought back some tears.
"I just wish he'd see me as his son too. I wish he'd spend some time with me, like how we used to when I was younger. Is it selfish to think this way? I'm noy jealous, I don't think. I've got my mom, but what about dad?"
