The pond with the waterfall, which was where the entrance to Lysana was, seemed relatively calm. At least, it did until a blue Syren female darted out from behind the waterfall. She surfaced in the middle of the pond and glanced around, adjusting the crown of flowers on her head. Oddly enough, she carried a bow in her right paw and had arrows with red-colored fletchings.
The female Syren was swam a bit closer to the shore similar to the way a crocodile swims—only her eyes and nose were visible. She was about two feet away from the shore, where the water was less than a foot deep, when she paused. She sat up on her haunches and looked around warily for any nearby Pykiin. She did not want to hurt anyone, after all. Not seeing any other Pykiin—she hadn't expected to see any—the Syren shifted into position. Her left side faced her target, which was a dead tree leaning against a large rock. The dead tree was a perfect target, since she wasn't needlessly hurting something that was still alive and if she missed the arrows would simply hit the rock.
She transferred her bow to her left paw, and while pointing it downwards, nocked an arrow. The Syren paused to shake some of her wet hair out of her face before raising the bow up and taking aim at a dark discoloration on the bark of the dead tree. Taking the bowstring and pulling it back to her anchor point, she squinted and adjusted her aim slightly. Then with a single, fluid motion, she relaxed her paw and let go of the bowstring.
There was a slight twang as the arrow sped away, and then a thumping noise as it buried itself deep in the wood of the dead tree. The Syren smiled slightly in satisfaction; the arrow had found its mark in the center of the spot she had been aiming at. She hadn't been out here to practice in a couple of days, and she was pleased to see her skills hadn't gotten rusty yet.
It probably has something to do with this bow, she thought wryly. After all, he did say, "trust in this bow, and you will not easily miss".
The Syren pulled out another arrow and began to prepare to shoot again.

((joining with Shomari and Mist. Unless you want this to be strictly Syren?))

Blazion had followed the Syren through the waterfall and into the Valley's pond. He had only been up a few times before. Making sure he didn't make any noise he silently paddled over to the shore and hid behind a rock watching intently as she shot her arrow into the bark of the tree. She had a perfect aim. Silently Blaze wondered how she had gotten her hands on such a spiffy gold crown, bow, and arrows.

Ike lingered from the two other Syren he was following. Carefully manuvering through the waterweed at the bottom of the pond to be sure he wasn't seen. His fluffy tail directing the way his body went as he furtively whirrled though the water to end up at the other end of the seeminly vast pond.
He cautiously crept out of the water and sat gazing at the gleaming water as the sun hit the surface causing it to have a certan sparkle. He smiled for a moment just looking at the gleaming treasure.

She was in the process of pulling back again when she suddenly realized that she wasn't alone. She hadn't heard anything, or seen anything out of the corner of her eye, but there was a sense of being watched that she couldn't shake off. The Syren turned around quickly, still holding the bow and arrow. However, the bowstring was slack and the bow pointed downward, so she wouldn't accidentally let the arrow loose toward whomever was there if they weren't a threat, but she could easily defend herself if she had to. But... No one was there, at least no one that she could see. She felt a little bit sheepish doing so, but she continued to scan the area nearby. || Whoops. I guess it'd be nice to actually see her, wouldn't it? ||

Blazion let out a small shreeching noise and ducked under the bush fearing she might be so angry with him she'd shoot him with an arrow. There was a moment of quiet rustling as he shifted positions to watch the elven through the bush.
((She's pretty!))

Shomari and Mist has quietly been observing this act of archery for quite some time now. The male's mouth curved into a small smile, barley even noticable to Mist, who was about 6 inches away from him. He quickly noticed that she had turned around and ducked at once, tugging Mist down after him. He twiddled with his claws, not knowing what it was they should do.
"W..What if she s-saw us?" Shomari asked, his eyes enlarging with worry. He dropped his paws and looked to the ground in thought. As hard as he tried, his mind only brought up blanks.
"Now, now, every thing's alright. If she did see us, which I doubt she did, I'll just introduce myself first. Unless she fled.." Shomari sighed, letting his hope fade in his breath. "Which she probably wouldn't," she said as reassuringly as possible. "I just think the best thing to do now is just to slowly reveal ourselves." She said calmly.
"A-are you sure?" Shomari asked, doubting Mist. "Wh-what if we her scared. Er.. What if she r-runs away?" He tilted his head at her.
"Well then that's that and we'll just have to speak to her some other time." Mist nodded firmly. She straightened Shomari's head from it's crooked position and patted it. "Come now, Shomari." Shomari reluctantly followed as Mist rose, walked around the pile of rocks they had been watching her from, and approached the Syren.
Mist's pace was very slow, not wishing to startle her and have her fire at them. "Hello," She said from a distance. "I am Mist, I come from Lysana also. I am Mist." She smiled. "You may know of me, but if not I wanted to give a proper introduction. Oh! And this is my friend, Shomari." Shomari looked to the ground immediately and said, "Hi," in a very hushed tone.

Virea swam strongly for the waterfall, ready for her first view of the world above. She smiled, enjoying the tumultous waters of the fall before bursting through into the pool. Vir stopped short, treading water as she found herself in the middle of a small gathering. Fortunately, some of the others were Syren like herself, so she wasn't worried about a fight. "Greetings, all. I am called Virea."
Eraina was hoping for a quiet place to think, and the waterfall pool was usually just that. She padded up, not really paying attention to her surroundings. By the time she heard the voices, it was too late. "Oh!" She said, startled. Her wide eyes took in Shomari, and she started to blush, but was distracted by all the others. "Oh!" she said again, eyes darting from one to another. "Um, hello," she managed to say in a strangled tone.

Susan had been about to demand whomever was there to show themselves when a female Syren and a brightly-colored male emerged from wherever they had been hiding. She noted that they were being rather cautious and did not approach very close; realizing that she probably seemed a little frightening with her arrows, she dropped down so rather than sitting upright on her hind-legs, she was balancing on three paws while clutching her bow and arrow awkwardly in the fourth. She couldn't be too trusting, though. There was no telling what else lurked in this valley, and even if there were only Pykiin here, she could not be sure that all where
"Good afternoon," called Susan to Mist and Shomari. "It is a pleasure to meet you."
She was distracted by the arrival of two others, and for the first time noticed the light blue Syren sitting there and admiring the water. She was slightly amused by the sudden appearance of so many Pykiin.
"Greetings, Virea," replied Susan.
She looked around at all the other Pykiin, attempting to assess whether any of them were a threat, and than cast a dark look at the nearby forest, as if expecting something dangerous to suddenly appear from the shadows. Susan hesitated for a second more before putting away the arrow she had been holding. She did not think she was in any danger from any of these Pykiin.

Blazion emerged from the bushes and awkwardly looked around. He noticed Mist,a Syren he had seen before, and quickly ran near her."Er...I'm Blazion."he said brushing his tail back and forth awkwardly.

Ike lifed his head slowly when he felt someone's stare. It was just one of those things he had always been aware of, and even slight looks burned holes within him causing his heart rate to increase.
Half sitting on his haunches he rocked in place, it was a gentle motion much like the water's own movement. His ears laid flat against his fuzzy head and his tail craftily twined it's way behind his front legs. It was over all an awkward position from other's points of veiw, but it was something that helped calm his nerves.
He coughed slightly and starred at the blue female, "Susan?" He whispered so only he could hear it. A small half smile began to grow, in the corner of his mouth as he observed the female.

Eraina's wide eyes flickered from one syren to another. She recognized that they must be water pykiin, and more than anything she wanted to be one of them. "You must be Syren, right," she managed to ask shakily, her voice thick with longing.
Virea waded regally toward the shore. "Greetings, Blazion, Suzan, Mist, Shomari."

Shomari, looking down this entire time, didn't notice Raina and another Syren come into play. Mist batted him from the water with her tail, getting him slightly wet. "Hi.." He said meekly. It seemed as though the majority of Syren were blue. This became rather fascinating to him for some reason.
"Hello, Virea, nice of you to join us." Mis said, warmly to her. "Oh, the pleasure is ours," Mist smiled. Shomari nodded, and then looked back to his brightly colored toes. "Are you new to Lysana? I don't think I've seen you around.." The Syren asked Susan, mesmerized by her weaponry. Nor had she seen anything such as those. It seemed like everything was new to Mist. New surroundings, new pykiin, new everything. It was... different. She felt out of her element a bit, but at the same time Mis was fine with it.
She was suddenly distracted by two very squishy, familiar faces. "Ike, Blazion?" She asked. Perhaps it was just a mirage.. She was beginning to miss her boys too much. But it was them! "Where have you two been? I haven't seen you in the longest time!" She gushed.
