Cherie and her mate Ange were inspired by the song I wrote for the Unconditional Love contest. The characters developed for the possibility if I won, and I couldn't not get them, so here they are.
Cherie and Ange fled their old home and came to the Valley. Before, they lived in a small village dominated by two families, feuding. They met in a marketplace, without knowing the other's identity, and fell immediately in love. When they discovered that they belonged to opposing houses. Knowing that their families would try to separate them, they ran away, telling no one of their intentions. Still, they fear pursuit.
Cherie is the more forward of the pair, though being female, she trusts her safety to Ange. She often forgets to speak in the language of the land, reverting to her native French often. She is less trusting than her mate as well, possibly because her family was coming off worst in the feud.
