I'm never quite sure what to think of eyeballing (the technical term for copying), but if SLyle was making USD profit from it then both she and Ponyisland could get in deep copyright troubles.

I for one (as a loyal member, or used to be now that they are shut off) don't quite enjoy this thread being posted up for everyone to see. I'm rather disgusted by the comments that I've seen when Syd clearly has no idea what's going on with her adoptable.
I though, can't argue with the facts but I'm just in a bad mood with all these comments I'm reading to a friend. That is all.

Shay is completely right. My art teacher never lets us use any photos except our own for direct reference, which can sometimes be a bit frustrating, but apparently very necessary. After all, when you reference someone else's photos, you're referencing their art, essentially.

After all, Glor said that all her staff members had left before the notice was posted, so her staff knew about it at the very least. I understand that it's hard to defend a friend in such a situation, but it's necessary that people know about this so that they don't get in trouble with moderators for having dipities on their presentations, etc. |
