My mom left me and my brother home, and my dad is working outside, so I was in charge of making sure the mushrooms didn't burn.
Well, I'm working on a project. So when my mom left, I stirred the mushrooms five minutes later, then turned off the stove, thinking that they'd be fine.
Twenty minutes later, I got up to eat a couple of them, and found that even though the stove was off, they were still cooking because I'd left them on the burner. >.>' Oops.
On the bright side, since the mushrooms are actually mine anyway, it's not a big deal. Plus, I eat mushrooms so that I chew and swallow them. I really only taste the juice, not the mushroom. So it's not like the burnt part really affects me.
But I have the feeling that I'll still be in a bit of trouble when my mom get's home. ^_^;; Hopefully I can eat the burnt ones before them. ^_^;;
