"What's Love?"

The devious plan to pounce. I, a young kiin. My soft cyan fur's shining ever so brightly between the sunny grass. The blades so soft they couldn't cut you. I bellowed my rump in the air. My fluffy tail wagging behind me. I take the counter attack. I pounce on the dandelion that was so tempting. I bite it with a soft chew. I was startled by a pink presence. I guess my god mother has entered a cave with the one she 'Loved' I never understood what it meant. Was it a feeling or a word used for something. Is it Jimen's nickname? I am not sure. I rather just shrug about it and walk on. I am still curious though. If it's a feeling, I want to occur it. If it's a word, I want to use it. Well if I have the right to use it. I heard my Mother and Father mention it once or twice, but not sure.

I better get to my den, but I feel I am more comfortable sitting here chewing on a soft dandelion. Well until it snapped. I got up real quick and walked towards the lake. Dipping my cyan dotted black paws in it. Staring at the lovely fish in it, amused me. I kept my mind straight on this word 'Love' though. What does it mean, I must ask a another Pykiin, I am getting irritated. I won't be able to sleep until I figure it out.

I padded lazily down the path, my white and cyan fur bristling in the cool summer air. I caught the familiar scent of a fellow pykiin, and broke into a lope towards it. I saw a flash of cyan fur through the trees, and headed towards it. I quickly caught up to him and smiled. I sat down, wrapping her thick white and cyan tail around her thin legs in a cat-like way.

"Hello, im Sara." I told him, watching him pounce. "Are you trying to catch something in particular, or just pouncing for the fun of it?" I asked curiously. "Because i dont see anything." I laughed, her ears pricked forward. The wind swerved in and out of the trees, making the leaves dance.

I looked at the lovely kiin. "I just thought the Dandelion would love me to bite into it." I said with a flick of my tail. The shudder distance from the cave he had heard some racket. He turned his glance to it and saw a flock of bats swiftly fly out. Not hitting each other and coming out perfectly. I let out a sympatric chuckle and looked back at Sara. I wanted to ask the question so bad, here was my chance.

"Sara, have you ever heard the word 'Love' before? If you have, is it a feeling or just a random word used in different varieties?" He asked before restoring his glance to a tree of blue birds, the female and male nuzzling each other. His heart felt like dropping, why though? Why did it feel so hurt when he saw other things mention the word 'Love'.

Sara looked at him when he asked her that question, then blushed. "Its a feeling. I have never felt it before though. Its when you like someone so much, that you want to spend the rest of your lives with them. To have a soul mate, you must love the Pykiin so much.." She said, looking at the ground.

She sighed, and sucked in a deep breath. "Usually only Pykiins feel it, but once in a while, two kiin feel it. Its a good feeling, i know that for sure. When you love someone, you cant love anyone else. If you think that you do love two people, then you really dont love them. You would break their hearts."

Karaa silently crouched out of the gave, and squinted as she looked into the bright morning sun. She had never been out of her parent's den, and had never seen any other pykiin. She sighed nervous as to who or what to find. Karaa took timid steps toward a bush, she was eager to find shelter even thou it was sunny. She his under the bush for awhile until she felt comfortable being outside. Karaa poked her head out of the bush, she took timid steps again. This happened for ten more minutes. She started to hear voices; the voices of sara and Aoife. She turned her head to see the two pykiin talking. She gazed at them from afar. "Urr.... Hi"

I looked at the female and smiled. "Thanks" I said giving a nod. "So it's a feeling eh, I wonder what it would be like until I get this feeling." I said amazed. "Have you ever had the feeling?" I said looking at the cyan and white kiin. I stood in awe when I heard another kiin's voice. I turned my cyan head to look at the tiny kiin. "Hallo there. I'm Aoife." I said it was the most easiest thing to say. I am usually scared when it comes to other kiin or pykiin coming around. I felt like my legs were fine, most the time I felt like my legs would buckle and I would fall in a haze and wake up hours later dizzy. I guess I was getting used to seeing new pykiin, I wasn't even getting light headed.

My head turned back to Sara and then this kiin. "Do you know what 'Love' is?" I asked her, trying to warm her into the conversation. I always knew what it was like to be left out, I didn't want others to feel that way at all.

Sara looked at him, thinking. "I think i have been close to it, but i think im still too young. When i grow up, i might feel it." She glanced around, seeing the other Kiin, and smiled warmly. "Hey! Im Sara, its real nice to meet you." She said, motioning for her to come over. "I was trying to explain to him what love is, but its tough to explain. Maybe you could explain it better?" She said, more of a statement than a question. "Have you ever liked someone so much, that you want to spend the rest of your life with, and no one else?" She asked him. "That is kinda like love."
