((A deeper look at Tinaeus and his relationships with other pykiin. Limited roleplayers, please - I would like to keep this down to only two or three other pykiin, and I can't guarantee that I'll answer to your pykiin as I'm rather busy lately.))
~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~
Two young flowers pushed through the soil, twisting and curling gently about each other. The buds of the first merged with the other as they appeared, forming one perfect rosebud encircled with thorns.
Tinaeus watched the rosebud for a few moments, then chose to leave it be. It would grow in its own time. He would enjoy the flower more if he patiently awaited its opening rather than forcing the petals apart. Brushing his nose carefully across the tip of the bud in respect, he let the tantalizing enclosed scent catch his attention briefly. There was something about the smell of a rosebud - the crisp fresh scent of a leaf mingled with the muted sweet aroma of a flower - that would always be a source of wonder to him.
Tail swishing gently as he moved, the tan pykiin padded around the Dryad's trunk to visit Tree-Speaker. The pheonix pony, who could communicate with the Dryad, liked company only at certain times of the day, the early morning right after sunrise being her favorite. He nodded to her and smiled in greeting. "Good morning, Tree-Speaker. How are you and the Dryad today?"
"Wonderful, dear. Though, I'm afraid she has a few critters bothering her roots. She may need to expand some of her magical energy to drive off the annoying things if they get to be too much for her." Tree-speaker made a subtle move of her hoof to indicate the large tree's roots. "Don't you worry about her, though, she's got bigger things on her plate. Aren't you supposed to be out looking for a soulmate? Shame on you, go on and impress those girls for the Dryad," she smiled teasingly, shaking out her light green mane.
Tinaeus grinned. "Of course, how could I forget? That little soulmate issue. It's not impressing the girls that I'm worried, about, though. I have a hard enough time trying to choose," he sighed quietly.
Tree-speaker's gaze softened considerably. "It's definately not an easy decision to make. But you will make the decision, and sometime soon. Before you can go playing with roses anymore, you need to fill the requirements just like everyone else."

Uzuri was wondering abut, she had finally needed five minutes of piece and quiet from the constant noise and activity of her daughters, the bouncing bundles of joy and love. Her mind wandered easily with this break and the grass felt even more inviting than it ever had before. However before she could lay down she noticed him, the first earth elemental himself, although he was not alone. The beautiful and elegant Tree-Speaker was with him and they seemed to be deep in conversation.
She made the choice to go up to them, and hoped whole heartedly that she was in no way disturbing them. "A wonderful say it is today." She said in her energetic, and inviting way. As she spoke she finally sat down in the inviting grass.
((I may not be able to reply too quickly either, I am stil cleaning out my daughters room))

Celeste wandered over. "It is a wonderful day today at that Uzuri. Do you mind if I join you? Akemi is very busy these days with her kiin. They are adorable but I am afraid that they can be a handful. Akemi and Skybridge seem to be having a grand time being parents though."
Celeste sat down on the cool grass and looked toward Tinaeus and Tree-Speaker. "Hello to you both." she said with a slight nod of her head. "How are you doing?"
She watched the roses blowing softly in the wind "That is such a peaceful sight to enjoy." she said on a soft sigh.

((Can I join? Honestly, if you don't think Insinia should be here, then just tell me. I won't take it personally))
Insinia was taking one of her daily walks around the Valley, just enjoying the Valley as her home. Everything was very peaceful - the sun was shining, the trees' leaves swaying ever s lightly in the breeze, it was just calming and a winderfull feeling.
She only stopped to see the ivvies and daisies growing along a tree's trunk and ground. She sniffed the daisies and picked a few and carefully weaved it through her tail. Each little thin stem delicately wrapped around a few strands of hair.
She finished and continued on her walk. Only to stop short when she heard a familiar voice up ahead. "Tinaeus?" She recalled his voice easily. They're were also a couple of other voices u ahead that she failed to recall. She paced up her walk to come see meet them.
"Hello there guys. I hope I didn't interupt anything." She greeted and appoligized just incase. She noticed the Tree-Speacker and bowed her head down slightly in a respectful greeting.

Adelina crossed the field and approached the Dryad with caution. She hadn’t known who was near by and hadn’t intended on trespassing on any private conversations. As she came around the trunk she stopped hoping that she wasn’t intruding.
It was indeed a pleasant day. The sun was shining, the breeze was just enough to keep it cool, but yet not so. Adelina could spot several Gemfruit dangling on the Dryad, and the sun hit them all just the right way as it gleamed through the branches.
A slight breeze picked up and tossed her mane about her fragile frame. She sat next to Celeste on the soft grass and asked, “I’m not interrupting am I?” She gave all of them a warm smile and began to tangle two blades of grass with her paw as she sat and watched the same roses blowing in the wind.

|| OOC: I know the amount of Pykiin that you've wanted to join has already been surpassed, so feel free to ignore L'ananas, K13. || Still feeling slightly depressed and annoyed, L'ananas had taken to wandering around the valley, trying to stay out of the way of other Pykiin and, especially, Aimae. The two had grown apart recently, and if it was possible, L'ananas wouldn't be surprised if Aimae just left to find a new Pykiin. Thankfully, it wasn't possible. She rounded the outer edge of the Dryad, not hearing the voices of the others, since she was so embroiled in her thoughts. However, she finally did notice the little gathering when she stumbled over her own paws and nearly bumped into a pale green Pykiin with fairy wings that she didn't recognize. "Sorry!" said L'ananas, taking a step backwards. Looking around, she shook her head slightly. She wanted to back out of here and go back to her wanderings. But it would be rude and rather odd, so she stayed where she was. She noticed the Tree-speaker, and she bowed her head slightly in respect. She also noted that Tinaeus was here, along with Uzuri, Addei, and Celeste. Well, what a party this was.

((Farnley, he's not actually looking for a mate in this roleplay, but if you'd like to introduce your kiin then feel free to do so And Saiki, I'll try not to ignore anyone, but it might be hard for me to keep up with everyone.)) Tinaeus was rather overwhelmed by how quickly the females had accumulated. It was early morning and already there was a crowd forming about him. He gave Tree-speaker a look that said, "See what I mean?" then grinned nervously at the group. Flamepaw never had this problem, did he? He was such a grouch that most pykiin didn't want to be around him. It was pure luck that he was the first one to get soulmated. Turning to Uzuri, the only soulmated female in the group, he nodded. "Yes, quite a nice day," he said distractedly. "Do you mind if I pull you away from the group for a while? I need to talk." He took a few steps in the opposite direction, turning his head to glance over his shoulder at the sky blue female.

"Of Course" Uzuri stated looking around at all the females wondering why he wanted to speak to her alone. She of course would not turn down a chance to talk with Tinaues, as he was a wonderful male and she hoped also a good friend.
She relished in the comfort she had a second more then slowly raised herself to a standing position and followed Tinaeus. He was always in a right funk when it came to females lately, she thought as she walked. Hopefully that would change for him soon. Catching up to him she joked, "Should I feel worried?" a small grin painted on her face.

Tinaeus laughed, some of the weight already slipping away. "I just don't know what to think about females. I actually don't know what's so... attractive about me, really. Natural tones must really be a fashion statement, because I can't fathom why anyone would be interested otherwise."
He smiled half-heartedly. "Its not like I'm the greatest thing in the Valley, that's all I'm saying," Tinaeus murmured. "And what's supposed to happen when I choose? How will all the other girls react? The last thing I want to do is break someone's heart."

As Uzuri listened she realized that the leader of the Valley seemed to be emulating fear of choosing a mate. Which she had once faced herself, but only for a short time. Raiden was definitely her soulmate, and her best friend.
She chose her words very carefully, since she sensed this was a delicate subject, "Well sometimes it is not so much on how you look, but how you act. I think they are attracted to you in a you are a wonderful pykiin, and you make them happy." She smiled at the fact that this was in fact true for her and she was sure a great deal of other females. Maybe not all, she was sure some just wanted the power but she hoped they were far and few between.
"And yes choosing will in fact be hard on those not picked, but the funny thing about females, is they will get over it. If they were true friends before, they will be after as well." a thought crossed her mind but dare she speak it out loud? No waiting was probably better, but she thought she knew what brought this on, he had somewhat chosen who he might like to be with. "Someone's heart will always be broken, but it is better not to run yourself ragged over it." She was still painted with a smile as she spoke.

Tinaeus listened carefully. If there was anyone who could give him good advice, it was a girl - especially one who had no reason whatsoever to be biased towards who he chose.
"Is it really that simple?" He mused. "Just finding someone who cares for you as you are, someone that makes you happy?" Maybe he was going about this all wrong. Maybe he was worrying too much about who was happiest with him that he forgot to think of who made him feel complete. Perhaps he was just misinterpreting everything - why would all the females be here because of him? It didn't make any sense, no, a lot of pykiin visited the Dryad. They could just be here to visit with the tree, like he did every morning. He stopped and stretched before completing the walk around the tree's trunk. The group was coming back into view.
"Thank you, Uzuri. I don't have quite as much to think about now," he said, allowing the corners of his mouth to creep upwards gratefully.

"Simple it is when you know what you are looking for." She smiled, "Never hesitate to ask me anything. I am happy I could help." Uzuri was happy, not too sure she helped enough, but she was convinced that Tinaeus was calmer, and more sure of himself, and his decisions. he was a wonderful leader and he was also a wonderful male, he deserved happiness, as everyone did.
As she walked with Tinaeus she could see the group of females coming back into view. She could also see that comfortable bit of grass she was fond of. She walked over to it as though it was an old friend and plunked her butt down, on the soft grass, she could fall asleep on something this soft, although she wouldn't.
