"Actually, from what I've observed, Drienne was taken in by a friend of mine, Azure. She' sin good hands, but I haven't really seen her since. And Sonea she seems to be an average 'Kiin to me, she's playful and she's bright as well. Boy that girl has an amazing thought train." Addei smiled thinking of Brandy, though Brandy wasn't really one to be smart or brillian she was more on the ditz side of life.
Adelina gave a small grin and added, "The two of htem do look alot a like you though." She smiled that would put light on the situation at hand.

Lakrai's expression wavered between emotions he was afraid to name. Fear, sorrow, anticipation, guilt, anxiety. "Well, I'm not surprised Sorka had to get help. Kits are meant to be raised by two parents, not one. But I'm sure Drienne is very happy with Azure, and vice versa. Sonea seems like a very happy child as well. It's nice to know they haven't missed me."
Lakrai shook his head, exasperated with himself. "I didn't mean that the way it sounded. I mean, of course they don't miss what they never had, they're children, they probably assume everyone has a family exactly like theirs." He snorted at himself. "That didn't sound entirely right either, but it will have to do. I'm not doing well explaining myself today."

Addei scrunched her nose, "So your saying they really have no idea that you even exist?" She was surprised a father would even state something like that, even the infamous Jack Sparrow had admitted to having three little girls and only a single son.
"I'm sure even if they haven't heard of you, they'll be glad to get to know you. I just suggest you don't suddenly rush up to them and tell them your their father, they might take it the wrong way." Addei said as a suggestion, she shook her head because what she had said hardly made sense to her.

"You're probably right, m'dear. I think I'll speak to their mother first." Lakrai agreed, a little alarmed. He hadn't thought about how the girls would react to his sudden presence. He'd just assumed that they'd be happy to see him. But what if they were'nt? What if they disliked him for leaving them? What if they hated him?
Lakrai shoved those thoughts away. He'd deal with it when and if it came up. "Well, now you know all about my problems, but I still know next to nothing about you." He left the statement as just that - not a question, just a statement that could be ignored if she wished.

Addei smiled, "Whats there to know?" She asked wondering what he was really looking for. She twilred her tail making the bracelets clink together.
She hadn't ever really explained herslef to anyone, she never had to. To her there wasn't much to tell about, she was just Adelina one of the oldest females in the Valley. She hadn't ever thought much about age though, but she had been around since the begining.

Lakrai's mouth quirked. "No traumatic incidences involving mates and bondeds and children?" He gave a bark of laughter. "Where are you from, do you have a family, what do you like to do, there's lots of things to talk about. Everyone has something to teach."
Lakrai had never looked at females much before. He remembered little before meeting Sorka, and after they came to the Valley, it had been with the understanding that they would be mates. Lakrai was intregued by this female, so unlike Sorka, and yet somehow the same.

Addei raised the side of her mask as she thought on what he had asked, "Well since you asked me not to talk about mates, bonded, and children that counts out about twenty five percent of me already." She responded of course joking.
"Let’s see here, I'm from the Valley, I've been here since the very beginning, or well the re-beginning.” She gave a slight pause, “I do have a family, not to mention Brandy my little ‘Kiin, but my pounce is a big part of my life, they all consider me the leader and surprisingly they come to me for advice. I don’t truly understand why though.”
Adelina had never really thought about what she had liked to do, it was never a question anyone had ever asked her, she hadn’t even tried to think of things she had liked to do, she was always concerned about others. “As to what I like to do…” She paused and took a deep breath, “I like to do many things actually, I mostly hang back and watch, I like to search the Valley and meet new ‘Kiin and other adults, I enjoy…” Actually now that Adelina had thought of it, she hadn’t know what she liked to do.

Lakrai shook his head helplessly. "I am truely doing a dismal job explaining myself today. I was only making a sardonic comment on my own experiences, not asking you to stay away from those subjects, especially as they seem to be a large part of you."
Lakrai's head nodded at each thing she listed. "If I were to hazard a guess, I would say they come to you for advice because of the air that surrounds you. You carry yourself as though you may be able to give them the advice they need, and, consiously or not, they are drawn to that. It may have something to do with being here so long, or it may be unique to you, I couldn't say." Lakrai's voice was quiet and serious, and his eyes frank.
"Take more time for yourself, m'dear." Perhaps he was reading more into her hesitation than was warrented, but Lakrai guessed that Adelina spent most of her time worrying about others, and not much thinking of herself. An admirable quality, but not a healthy one when taken to extremes. "Find some hobbies. Get someone to take care of your lovely daughter for a while, and go somewhere where you can forget everyone else and attend to your own needs, and no one else's."

"Oh, I know." Adelina replied as she thought of the original things he listed off, they were a big part of her, but they weren't that big. Addei hadn't realized that before, but she now realized it for some odd reason.
She puffed up her cheeks and released the air, "Well, then I guess the air aroung me is exceptional I suppose." She joked a bit, "But I can see that the length of my residence here would make my advice more seeked." She hadn't ever appreciated the fact that she had much knowlege of the Valley, it must have come naturally to her or something.
"I'm not sure I have many needs." Adelina stated clearly trying to think of any that would be on the top of her mind. "Lets say I'm not much of a needy person, I'm simple you see." Addei was just that, she wasn't terribly complicated, and she was quite easy going. Most of the time she couldn't make up her mind.

Lakrai smiled sympathetically. "Then take some time to just go off and do nothing, relax, and not worry about anyone else." He smiled wryly. "As one who just spent an inordinate amount of time doing just that, I think I can reccomend it with some assurance. It certaintly did me a world of good."
"You do have an air about you, you know. Self-assured and calm, composed and accepting. It feels like you could hear anything without a blink, and then your words would be just the right ones to set everything to rights." He considered, trying to think of others who had been in the Valley for a long time. "I would guess that your advice is sought after not solely because of your long residence, but because of something unique to you."
