"It's a pleasure to meet you..Hey! Nightwish!" Hope wiped a huge strawberry off her back, and another off her ear. "Don't mind her, she loves playing tricks and chucking things at pykiin. It's a habit of hers. Anyways, its nice to meet you Tevis. Nightwish and I were supposed to be looking for my pounce mate Skittles, but of course she was just joking." She sighed, than laughed as she grabbed a strawberry from the patch and popped it in her mouth.

Tevis was about to sit down when he remembered the strawberries. He was happy he remembered or he would have stood back up to find that he he had a stained red bottom. He sighed thankfully. "Yes, so I've heard."he said watching Nightwish as she disappeared."Well since I'm here I might as well eat a little." he said popping a strawberry into his mouth and eating it. "I didn't know the Valley had a strawberry patch until today."

"Yeah, I like coming here to eat strawberries just for fun, if I'm not swimming that is." Hope grabbed another strawberry and ate it.

"Well I would hope you like swimming. After all you are a water elemental."said Tevis noticing her elemental mutation. He popped another Strawberry into his mouth. He looked arond memorizing where this place was incase he wanted to come back. "I want to be a water elemental too one day."

"That's awesome, water element is so fun, and there is so much you can do with your element. Besides learning how to control water, I can even heal other pykiin now. If you wanted, I could show you some things that you can do with the element." Hope noticed as she spoke, her voice got even more excited and faster with every word she said. She slowed down, so that Tevis could actually understand what she was saying,"Or we could just go to the river and swim."

"I think it will be cool too. However I don't think I will get the elemental Mutation. Something tells me I wouldn't look good wit ha tail."he said smiling."Well maybe we could go swimming and while we are there you can show me some tricks." he was happy to do anything besides squishing strawberries.

"I agree, some like it better without the mertail, but it is very helpful for me. It's up to you to decide on what you want though." Hope smiled back."I think that's a great idea, and the river isn't to far away either. The path back to the river is right over there, beyond that clearing. You can follow me, just watch your step so you don't get red toes." She started to walk out toward the clearing, carefully ducking under branches and avoiding strawberries. As she reached the clearing, she stopped to wait for Tevis. She tilted her head to one side to get a strand of hair out of her face. It was full of strawberry smudge.

((good night! )) "Hehe. It's a little late for that."he said to himself and trotted after Hope. He dodged Strawberries and branches as he caught up with Hope. He was happy to be leaving this place even if he did like Strawberries, he didn't like having to be so carful of where he stepped.He stopped as he caught up to Hope. |

"Alright, I think we can get any other strawberries off of us when we go swimming, but for now lets head to the river, before it gets to late." Hope said as Tevis caught up. She started to walk slowly on the path, stopping every once and a while to make sure that they were still going the right way.
When they got to the river, Hope sighed with relief. "Finally, I can get these strawberries off of me."

"Alright."said Tevis following close behind. When they arrived at the river he took in all the sounds. He enjoyed listening to the river as it slowly swam along at a calm speed. He let his feet feel the water first. He dragged his feet in the sand attempting to get the strawberries off. Once they were off he submerged himself into the water until only his head was above water.

Hope couldn't wait a second longer to get into the water. She took a deep breath, then propelled herself forward gracefully into the slowly moving river. As soon as she hit the water, she used her giant fin to push her way through the glistening water. Scattering fish in every direction, she swam freely, and finally came up for a breath of air. She came up beside Tevis,"Would you like to see something totally cool?"

Tevis smiled."Sure!"he said and stopped swimming. Tevis planted hsi feet on the ground and watched Hope. He felt fish swim by him and occasionally one would bump into his leg not paying attention.

"Alright, just let gather my powers."She laughed to herself, it was fun being wierd every once and a while. Hope carefully lifted a moving bubble of water into the air, watching it intently. After a while, it stopped moving. Hope had frozen it, it was now a spherical iceball. "There, now I'll change it back to water." Hope concetrated, and the ice turned back to water, falling in droplets on the river.

Tevis clapped." Bravo!That was amazing!"he said smiling."What other tricks do you know?"he asked her. He waited for her to preform another trick a smile stretching over his entire face. "It must be so cool to be able to do all these things he thought and couldn't wait until he could do the same.
