"I never knew that," he said, looking up at the Dryad in awe.

Amai smiled at Apollo, "I didn't know it till Panda told me, either," she admitted. "So after this, what would you like to see?"

"Is there a place in the Valley you particularly like?"

Amai shook her head, "Not really. I know a lot of places, but as far as favorites go, I haven't really found that place yet." She stopped, and thought of places that she knew of. "Do you like the ocean?" She asked, thinking of the small bit of ocean on one of the edges of the Valley.

"I've never really seen much of it," he admitted.

"Well..." Amai started, trying to discribe it. "The ocean, full of water, is really cool, because the sea mist is undescribable, and the salt is amazing as it washes up ontop of the waves, and the sound is beautiful.... Do you like water?" She asked, wanting to make sure he liked water before she brought him to a place full of the stuff.

"I do. I especially liked to swim when I was younger," Apollo said.

Amai smiled, "Well we can go swimming, then!" She said happily as she began walking toward the pond, which led to a river, which led to the ocean. She stopped and waited for Apollo cheerily. (Just so you know, we're having another monsoon where I am. So my Internet may go out at some point - even if I'm still logged in. If that happens, I'll try to reroute the port, but if that doesn't work, then just so you know, it's a monsoon, and I'm not just not replying. )

Apollo trotted after her, smiling as well. He stopped as he saw the ocean, gasping softly. "Wow...it's beautiful." He took a deep breath to smell the salt air.

Amai grinned, "I'm glad you like it!" She said, running over to the ocean she began running threw the shallow water. She giggled happily and began going into the deeper water, and swimming in circles.

Apollo carefully waded into the water, a little intimidated by the great waves that seemed even bigger to him because he was smaller than Amai. One nearly knocked him off his feet, completely soaking him - he stopped, stunned for a minute, before starting to laugh, shaking himself.

"I'm fine," he replied, grinning at her. "Soaked, but fine. I'm not used to water being so strong."

Amai smiled and reached Apollo. "Yeah, it is a little strong. The wind is fairly harsh today," she said, looking at the sky. "The pond is a little less violent, if you want," she stated, smiling. (Oh! Just saw that post. ^^' In any case, thanks. I'm pretty used to the monsoons, we get them every summer. I love everything about them except for the lightning and the Internet outages. But thank you!
