Amai smiled, "You're welcome. Anything you want to see first? A waterfall? Pond? The Dryad?" She mused, thinking of the cool places she could take him.
Me: Hehe, I wonder if Apollo would like it.... Be sure to tell me! ;D

"I would like to see the Dryad again," Apollo said after a moment's thought. "There seemed to be something very special about it." Me: He says he prefers my vanilla wafer cookies. Now I have to go keep him from eating them all...

Amai nodded, "It seems that way to most Pykiin," she said with a smile. She looked just above the trees, "The Dryad is over there," she said, seeing the towering tree above the others. She began walking toward it, then turned around and bowed her head, "After you, of course," she said, trying to be polite.
Me: *Searches pantry* Sorry, Apollo, none on this end. ^^'

He gave her another smile, then, a bit shyly, asked, "Shall we walk side by side, as friends?" Apollo: *takes this as excuse to beg more off of me, the silly thing* Me: This has been wonderful fun, but I should crash, Panda. Hopefully I'll see you tomorrow?

Amai raised her head and smiled, "That sounds like a great idea," she said, stepping beside Apollo. Me: Yup, I need to go to bed soon as well. It has been fun! I think I'll talk to you tomorrow. I'll probably be on at night, though, since my brother and I are now only allowed on the computer for four hours a day.... In any case, I believe I'll talk to you tomorrow. G'night, Gabelet! ;D

Apollo looked pleased, trotting beside her. "Will you share with me stories about this Dryad? I am sure there are some."
Me: Augh, that's awful. At least you can sneak on at night, though! Sleep well!

Amai felt like she was glowing again, "Um, well, there are a few. Mostly good. Though I'm not great at story telling," she admitted. "In any case, I think the one that I've really heard the most about is when the Tineaus, one of the First Four, came into the Valley. K13 had been resting by the Dryad when the Dryad spoke to her. When the Tree did not answer her questions, she left, and then came across the Gemfruit that was Tineaus. K13 tried to take a bite of the Gemfruit, not knowing what it actually was, and the Dryad swooped down a branch and stopped her. K13 waited then, and waited. The next night, the Dryad spoke to her again, though I don't remember what it said. K13 then settled in PonyIsland, if you have ever heard of the place. Ponies sort of just... roam free there. Anyway, K13 kept the Gemfruit safe for a few months, then a Phoenix pony came and told her the Dryad wanted to see if the gemfruit was alright still. The pony brought K13 back to the Valley, and she brought her other ponies with. Some of the ponies flew, while others walked on the ground. When they arrived, the Phoenix pony asked for the gemfruit. She said that the Dryad could only tell when it would hatch it the gemfruit had enough magic yet. The Phoenix took the gemfruit, and smiled, and said that it was time." Amai took a deep breath, and smiled with satisfaction. "That's all I know to the story, though." (Sorry it took so long to write, but I had to read the story off the site. ^^' And actually, I didn't sneak on. I still have a couple minutes left of my four hours.

"Quite a powerful guardian she must be, to watch over such a thing as birth," Apollo said, filled with new respect for the Dryad.
(That's fine! <3 -- ^_^ And that's good. Much better than getting in trouble!))

Amai nodded, "Yes, she is. I've never met her, though. She seems very kind," she said with a smile as they approuched the Dryad. She looked at the vines and branches flowing in the soft breeze, "Welcome to the Dryad," she said, smiling up at the tall beauty.
(Yup yup! ;D)

Apollo stepped forward and bowed deeply to the tree. "Well met, Lady Dryad," he said. He did not expect an answer, so he stepped back. A closer look into the branches, however, made him stop. "Is that a Gemfruit there?" he asked, awed.

Amai looked up into the branches curiously, then smiled, "Yes, that's a gemfruit! I wonder if it's someones kit...?" She wondered curiously.

"It's beautiful," Apollo said, smiling up at it. "I wonder what it will look like, when it hatches."

Amai smiled, "I guess no one will know till then." She looked around at the branches, "And up there is where many of the Pykiin hid during the Flood," she stated.

"Yeah, a long time ago, there was a twenty-seven year drought, and then a twenty-seven year flood. During that time, the Pykiin all fled to the Dryad's branches and Hollow. A lot died from starvation or from falling off the branches and into the water. But still..." Amai looked at the ground, then up at the Dryad, "Even though a great many died, though, the Dryad still saved us," she said, gazing at the Dryad gratefully.
