Haku is Ryuukokoro's second custom. He is based on Haku from Miyazaki's Spirited Away, an amazing anime movie. The Pykiin and their dragon-like shapes remind me of the Haku in the movie, who is an eastern dragon.

Pronounced: hak - KOO
Gender: Male
Age: Adult
Personality: Over serious, always calm and ready for anything; fierce and opinionated, thinks he's always right; proud and honorable
Dislikes: Not being taken seriously
Pounce: thinks of everyone in his Pounce the same way he sees any other Pykiin in the valley, not very close to any of them; lives alone in a cave
Relationships: no bonded; no close friendships except for his soulmate, Dania (PonyMama's Pounce); openly hostile to the First Four
Children: Ashton, Minuet Sonatina (with Dania)
History:
Haku started as a calm and earnest little kiin who only wanted to protect his valley and everyone in it. He was young but very serious, and every morning would wake up and patrol the borders of the valley. When he learned that the First Four gained elemental powers, Haku became deeply jealous. In his mind it was obvious that he should have got the powers instead, so he could better protect the Valley.
Haku became obsessed with growing up, getting a bonded and a lifemate so he could gain elemental powers before any other Pykiin. It didn't really work, as his personality turned off most females. When others began getting powers before him, he got even more withdrawn and aloof. He finally found a Rodeli to allow him to grow to an adult, but the Rodeli would not stay bonded to him.
Haku continued to patrol the Valley as an adult, convinced he would be a much better leader than Tinaeus or any of the other First Four. His open hostility even led to arguments and him leaving the valley at one point, trying to start his own valley somewhere else where he could be leader. However, when he left several other Pykiin followed him and Dani got hurt. Haku returned to the Valley to escort the other Pykiin home and make sure Dani was healed.
The relationship between Dani and Haku grew more serious. She saw past his harsh exterior and admired his dedication to protecting the Valley. Haku became embarrassed and nervous when she was around, but in truth he was deeply thankful to finally have someone to stand by him.
Dani and Haku spent quite a lot of time together, but for a long while Haku never got up the nerve to ask Dani to become his soulmate. Finally during a celebration festival he was able to ask her (with much fumbling of words) and she agreed, and now finally Haku has his soulmate. If he can find a Bonded, he might just get those elemental powers he has yearned for for so long.
