Grouping Pykiin

Lately I've been debating wether we should group the pykiin in the Character boards into separate groups.

Each user with Pykiin would have his/her own sub-board in the Character forum for them to post all of the Pykiin they own. Take the FlamePonies board for example -

They have an excellent system of grouping ponies. This way, we'll also be able to link to the sub-boards as our homepages (through "modify profile") so you can simply click on the homepage button under a user's userpic to see a list of all their Pykiin.

However, it might delay a few events because it will take time.

I'm perfectly willing to do it, though, especially since there are a few individuals who have very numerous amounts of Pykiin.

I think that would be a very useful feature, especially as more people join and it gets harder to keep track of who belongs to whom.

So... what should a group of Pykiin be called? Think up a name for us!

I think that'd be a very good idea.

Would the current threads be moved into the new sub-boards, or would we type up new threads? I'd really like to redo my Pykiin's threads.

*snorts* I remember when I created a Proboards website, and almost all of the boards have five or more sub-boards. It was crazy, and very annoying to make.

I'll have an option for whether you want me to move the old threads or just delete them. I'm sure there are plenty of people who spent lots of time writing theirs and don't want to lose them.

How about a Pounce of Pykiin?

And up there ^^^ is terms used for groups of animals.

I find myself searching through the character board alot looking for 1 pykiin. This would be SO much easier, and convient.

Hmmm...

Herd, Pack, Pride, Gaggle, Clutch, Pile (Jade already has a Pile-o-Pykiin), Swarm, Flock, Drove, Tribe, Colony, Aerie, Clan, Prowl, Brood, Coterie, Covey, Mischief, Surfeit, Ambush, Knot, Mob

All of these are names of real groups of animals.
