Tale behind his name
Running through the forest you can feel the heat coursing through your body. You’re not aware of what you are running from, only the fact that it wishes to do you harm. You’re running out of breath and with each gasp you come closer to passing out. There’s no where certain to turn and you find yourself lost. You can’t see straight and it’s no surprise when you fall to the fact your pant leg had gotten caught on a large root. You lay not wishing to move, almost like you had given up.
The creature approaches, and your body tenses. There is no escaping it now, but you lift yourself up and begin to pry your pants from the root it was attached to. You stare the creature straight into the eyes to make it aware of the fact you aren’t afraid, even though you are terrified. “You might want to slow down and enjoy the forest young traveler.” The voice bounded as you sat not wanting to move so much as even a blink. “You may just miss your destiny.” The creature bore markings of none you had seen before, and it was immensely large with bulky legs and sharp claws. It sat and preened the feathers that attached themselves to two massive wings that shot out of the creature’s back.
Your breathing level is going haywire as you try and relax. This creature could do serious harm to you if you didn’t bite your tongue. So you remained silent hoping the creature would go on his way.
“The ends of the land and sea are bounded by an immense abyss, over which a narrow and dangerous pathway leads to the heavenly regions. The sky is a great dome of hard material arched over the Earth. There is a hole in it through which the spirits pass to the true heavens. Only the spirits of those who have died a voluntary or violent death, and the Raven, have been over this pathway. The spirits who live there light torches to guide the feet of new arrivals. This is the light of the aurora.” The creature stopped wondering of you were implored or not, but continued any way. “Times ago in a young village called, Torngasak, a wild warrior lived. Though his people were carefree and cheery, he was somber, Yakone as they called him never showed emotion. He was grave and cared not for hurt feelings or things that showed weakness. Yakone was all for strength and he thrived on it.” The creature took a breath.
You still remaining silent, let out a breath. You wished to tell the creature you didn’t wish to hear his tale, but you waited hoping it would be over soon. From the fall you could feel the blood trickling down the side of your leg, but you simply pushed down the leg of your pants and continued to listen. The fact that you may get harmed from the scrape didn’t occur to you until it was covered and by then it was too late to pull it back up.
“The young warrior would train immeasurably long, and spent countless evenings scouting the forests for anything to assault. His violent ways scared his people and forced them into the position of making him chief. Yakone had never wanted to be leader, in fact he dreaded even being call the Ataneq.”
The forest was growing cold, and it seemed as nature had completely stopped as this creature retell the story. You shiver a tad and cross your arms in front of yourself and begin to rub your forearms.
“He fled, not wanting the responsibility of leading the tribe, he ran away from everything he had ever known. On his venture for a new home he traveled through the forests taking down any foe that even blinked at him. He was alone and afraid, though he would have never admitted it, he was frightened almost to the point of death. Every tree he would pass seemed to look the same to him and he soon found himself loosing his sanity. The forest was still as he sat and held his head. It was throbbing after his long journey, and he figured that resting would help him. Yakone plopped himself at the base of the largest tree in the forest and began to drift asleep as he dreamt of home. Not much time passed before he was completely out. Only a few hours of his rest lasted before it was interrupted by a heavy earthquake. The trees quivered and the leaves shuddered as the bases of the trees wobbled. The ground quavered and a large chasm split the forest in two.”
It glanced up into the sky before it continued its tale, “Yakone who by now was even more so scared approached the deep ditch and peered into it. The gorge seemed endless as it continued down. A voice startled him severely and nearly forced him over the edge, ‘Jump the gorge and you will see the destiny that’s meant to be.’ Out from behind the large tree a frail red glowing being approached him. It was defiantly the voice of a females and the figure was too rounded to have been masculine. Yakone examined it closely before he shifted his head to one side and asked, ‘Pardon me? What on Earth do you mean?’ His voice was profound and deep, it still had a hint of adolescence, but from the sound of it, there wasn’t much. The being echoed, ‘Jump the gorge and you will see, the destiny that’s meant to be.’ Yakone froze he had glanced down the chasm, and from what he saw mo one would attempt to jump it, not even if they had wings attached to their very back. Yakone quivered with the thought of jumping and falling to his death, but what had he had to loose? He had no home, and no one to love him. Yakone gulped as he nodded to the glowing being notifying her that he was going to jump. She smiled, though you could barely tell as the glow that surrounded her was beaming ever so brightly. ‘Jump the gorge my dear and see the destiny that was meant to be.’
I will have to finish it later, my train of thought has been completely lost at the moment. xD

He's been all updated, and I added the legend behind his name as well.
Just so you know I will be creating one for every name that is from one of the Native Alaskan Languages, I still need to finish a few of them, and I haven't even gotten started on Shtiya's and Anana's. xD
