What happened to the advertisements at the top of the page? I figured that they just weren't showing up a few times, but I've finally noticed that I haven't seen them all - or most of the day.
What happened? I miss my little funny-captioned buddies. xD

And I just realized this..... I think if you pay for proboards then you have the option to make the boards ad free but I'm just guessing.

Well, you have the option to pay for Proboards not to advertise on the site, but anyone can do it, not just the people in charge. To be honest, I'm kind of curious to who did it, or if it's just a glitch.  |

That's really odd... o.o I didn't pay for the boards, and my board still has ads so I don't think it's anything to do with the proboards server. It's definately nice to not have them, though!

Some of them were funny, like the worm farm, but some of them were just... ugh. I hope they're gone for good.
