i never even thought of that! **giggles** the pirate outfit is really cute though, it's got a little sword, a hat, an eye patch, and a parrot!

Jack the monkey with a parrot would have been interesting.

And you could've put the sound thingy in the parrot *like the guy that has his parrot speak for him*

No kidding that movie is not for children!! >_< I just got back from seeing it, I don't think there went 10 minutes without someone dying! Geez! And do NOT get me started on the opening! That was the most horrible beginning to a movie I have EVER SEEN! I didn't start to like it at all until 1 hour into the film....
/end rant, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I agree, there was so much death. And some of it was more graphic or dragged out then it needed to be. Like when Davy Jones killed that man with his tentacles.
And what made it worse (for me, at least) was that my aunt brought her 5 and 7 year old daughters to watch the movie. And the people two rows ahead of us had two babies in strollers and another child who looked around 4. I mean, why would you want such young children seeing this kind of movie? Especially when they start screaming or crying during the more scary or loud parts. Obviously, they weren't enjoying it.

That's terrible! How can people subject their children to that? It's just so senseless- and then they wonder why teens are more innured to violence.

Some think their children are ready for it. Yeah, that's why they have to sleep in their parents' room for a month. It's just not smart. When my father was a child, he saw Dracula. After that he slept with a cross over his heart for three months

There was a lot of children in the third showing I went to. From infants on the front roll to the 4-6 year old chatting away for the first 45 mins till he fell asleep.
