Ear Fur

Just a little random question, but it's been picking at me so I just had to ask.

You know how Pykiin have that little tufts of fur inside they're ear, yes? Where does the color come from. I've looked at some males, like Sky Bridge for example, and noticed his ear fur was the color of his horn:

But then I looked at others, like Khairi, and it's his belly fur:


Then for females I will look at Kohana and see it is her belly fur:

Then I'll look at Yin, and it's her furtuft/mask color:

Wahtever looks best, really. Usually the belly fur color, like Sky Bridge, but in certain cases the belly fur color doesn't look that great so I use the mask color or a random color that fits.

On Flitters the fur color matches the main fur color and is much less noticeable, and on the Elven and the new breed there is no ear fur at all.

That does seem logical. You wouldn't want pykiin running around with ugly ears.

Also, I just noticed that Kohana's ear fur changed colors when she grew up xD whoops.

That's cool I never really noticed that the ears fur is the same as the belly fur!
