Well to start off my wonderful day, I woke up, took a shower and realized that I was late getting out of the bathroom, so I had no time to dry my hair. Fine right? Well, I pull my hair up and pile it onto my head, put on my hat and cover it up with my sweatshirt hoodie. I climb into my car and drive to school... no big deal.
So, the end of the school day, well after I get help in math, I grab my truck keys and go out to my truck. I don’t have auto-start, though I probably should considering it’s getting to be 20 below zero... Any how, I get outside, and out to my usual parking place (ALL the way at the end of the student’s parking lot). I get in my car, and you’ll never guess what happens!
My truck won’t start! So, I’m sitting in my truck at 20 below with a hoodie sweatshirt and exactly no place to go. Granted I should have thought better than to have just worn a sweatshirt, but up here many of us go outside in shorts at this temperature... I’m not one of them, apparently. So, I had to walk all the way across town to get to my mother’s office, which has been having heating problems for the past month and a half. I ended up missing practice and won’t be eligible to play in the next game... Though I can say I’m truly grateful I didn’t get frost bite.
Dis Cold be Killin’ Cam!

I can't handle anything below 60 let alone -20..... ((downside of being a southern)) I hope you get a tad bit warmer and get your car working!

yeah but sinsoo...i love the cold! because usually when the cold weather comes the humidity goes away for a bit
though there's no point in arguing with me about one thing...a southern cold is colder than a northern cold...and it's all the humidity's fault...evil moisture in air soaking into your clothes and making you even colder **shivers** evil rain too...cause it's freezing outside right now!

Dry cold is much nicer than wet cold, but I don't like any kind of cold. Hope your car starts working soon, and we're very, very happy you didn't get frostbite.

I've never experienced any wet cold, but I'm pretty sure that my 42 below and 80 mph winds yesterday stumps 20 above with humidity. xD And, we finally figured out what was wrong with my truck... it needs a new battery. Which sucks because we can't afford it. *shrugs* Looks like I'll have to start saving again, and get rides from either the bus or Shel.
