Ok so this was the last thread I made about this topic, and it was awhile ago

About my step grampa being sick and in the hospital. He was doing alright for a little while there.

Well just got off the phoen with my mom, and he is back in the hospital, he isn't doing well. He is tired, adn you know he doesn't have much time left. If everyone could keep him in their thoughts.

Not for him so much to live, more or less for us, his family to have the strength. We know he is getting old, and they can't operate, we also know he can't handle much more of this.

I'll be praying for you and your family. It's hard to lose a grandfather... I've lost two, and I know how you feel. Part of you wants him to live, and part of you knows that he'll be better off if he's not suffering.

We prepared ourselves for his death last time he was in the hospital. SO to have him come home and spend more time with us was wonderful.

This time I think we are all very much ready. It of course will be very hard, but a wonderful man like that should not be left to suffer. He shoudl drift away peacefully in his sleep and leave a family who all got one last moment with him.

There's no good way for this to happen. I'll be thinking of him and your whole family. At least you've been able to spend a lot of time with him and mentally prepare yourselves as much as is possible.
