Nature Adventures!!

haha. I just had a fun adventure! Well this morning I got up and found my roommate Rosie had left a bag of catfood on the porch....and it was now strewn ALL over the porch. I had a chuckle and figured a racoon found a good dinner.

Well tonight I'm sitting here playing video games and I hit pause for a while, since I was distracted by something on PI (as always lol). In the silence I heard this crunching noise coming from REAL close, since I'm sitting next to the open window that is next to the porch.

I figured the raccoon was back, so I quickly jumped up and looked around for my flashlight, but it moves every night, I swear. So I took a chance and flipped on the porch light.

And there, cute as can be, a little skunk is poking his head into the bag of catfood and eating to his hearts content. XD Soooo cute! I ran and grabbed my camera and took a few pictures, but the noise and flash made him a little upset and he waddled off the porch and then took off VERY quickly. lol. Poor guy. I guess I'd better clean off the porch or get used to having a little visitor. XD

Yeah, it made me feel a lot safer that there was a closed door between us! lol.


Goodness, word sure gets around quick!! I just heard more noise on the porch and I checked it and found an adorable tiny cat! She was all gray and I think she had a collar on. Hard to see in the dark. She took off when I opened the door, though.

The kitty came back for a while, but if I so much as turned on the porch lights, he bolted. Poor guy.

Now the skunk is back. XD I'm going to leave him alone, though. >_> Man, I hope Rosie doesn't come home from work right now...

Squee for gray kitties x3

We have a fluffly gray kitten at the shelter that they named after me *glomploves for the foster home peoples* Now they need to name one Cora Jean, that kid is freaking amazing. She's six and she can already clip nails for full-grown cats on her own O.O She'd be administering medication for cats already if people under 18 were allowed to. Now, if she could talk to cats and figure out why Baby Girl hasn't eaten since Wednesday, all our problems would be solved.
