They are HORRIBLE in Louisiana they are pretty bad here in Florida too but not half as bad as in Louisiana I've never seen them like they have there. In Louisiana it's because of all the Bayous.

Ugh, msoquitoes are nasty. Thankfully, there aren't too many mosquitoes in this part of California, since there isn't much standing water.
But when I was in Banff, there were tons of these huge mosquitoes. One bit me on my left hand and my hand swelled up so much that I couldn't move my pinkie, ring, or middle fingers.
