On the freeway today.
I found a little blk, gry and wht kitten walking down the center of a major freeway today. I went back to get it and he/she had wedged itself between two cement barriers I scooped it up wrapped in a blanket I keep in the car and snuck it into work till the end of the day.
It's little tail is hurt and his nose skinned, it has little worn spots on the paws. I have bathed fed and wrapped it in a towel and It is now hiding in large pet carrier. with a bowl of water and blanket. The vet's closed today but he/she will be going tomorrow.
Not sure if we'll keep it but we've nick named it Rescue. sooo cute and after the bath so soft. Long fluffy fur.
Will post pics when/if I get them.

i'm one of those people who carries food and bottled water in their cat for when they see things like that...i'm addicted to anything soft and fuzzy...especially kittens

That is sweet, and it sounds adorable. My mom had something similar happen recently, she found a small dog running around near the major road behind the mall. She brought it home. Luckily, it had a collar and tags so we called the owner and got him home. Our cats would not have appreciated a new member of the household.

LOL The animals are fine with it. It's the human element I have to worry about.

I need to get some of her but she is so exhausted right now that I haven't wanted to bother her too much.

my dad thinks that she/he crawled up into a car engine then was able to get outon the freeway
and that is what we are calling her now Freeway. My brother says someone probably couldn't get rid of her so they just chunked her out the window on the freeway, so we should call her Chunk I didn't respond to that one.

lol the only human element i have to deal with is myself...my roommates are ok as long as the animals are caged (Cotton Ball and Shrubbery) are in a fish tank (lots-o-bettas, tank of tropicals, large tank with two tiger oscars) and then the cats are all house trained...well...except for Charles and Ester...but we're working on that fact >.>

This is her I haven't been able to tell for certain boy or girl yet as she really just wants to hide and sleep.

She was very unsure of what that big black thing I was holding was.
