Ok I have the same conversation over and over with anybody I talk to about best friends. One they tell me I am not able to have more than one best friend. Well this is not true. I feel that best friend is a friend who makes you happy no matter what you have been through. A person who you can be free to talk to, even if they do not want to hear it. A person who no matter how long it has been, you still feel like you spent everyday with them. So yes I have two best friends. the second problem I have is that my two best friends are guys. Yes I am friends with Guys. and they are both Ex boyfriends of mine as well. To make things even better, they are step brothers. So people think that I should not be friends witht hem because they are ex's, thinking that my hubby should be uncomfortable with this. Well guess what, he is fine with it. he has chatted on the Phone with one and had coffee with the other, as well as gone to their parents house for a whole afternoon. So I ask you: Why can't I have two best friends? & Why can't they also be my ex boyfriends? ends rant LeslieI have not seen him in 9 years, but we still laugh and joke over the phone and chat on MSN. I talk to him on the phone lots, and I chat with him on MSN, and just after xmas I got to see him for the first time in 7 years. This is a picture that was taken by Les's brother Mike. I was 15 and he was 19. Very young, and believe me I do not have hair like that anymore. Hum, that is a sticky situation, well not really. I have at least four best friends, and three out of four of them are guys. Two out of three just so happen to be my ex's. I love them all, and the person you have been arguing with has no right to tell you that you can only have one best friend, because in reality, many people have tons of best freinds. Best friends to me are someone you look forward to talking to, someone you can joke around with and for once not have to be serious, a person that even when you fight is willing to make up at the drop of a dime. I have many of freinds like this, but the reason I have the four I do, is because I spend almost all of my time with them, wehter it is hanging with them at the feilds, or texting eachother during school, we've been friends since 3rd grade, and I don't plan on any separations that may happen to put a hult on our friendship. RachelI've known her since the verry begining of 3rd grade, we do practiclly everthing together. We are on the same sports teams, and are both in student council. Eh, the pic was taken so long ago she's 14 in this pic.  Jarred and KrisThese two are also my ex's and though we are just friends, I still love them to bits. Again the pic is verry old, 8th grade graduation.  DavidI've also known him as long as the others, we all met in 3rd grade, and he is aldo in student council wht Rachel and I. I hate it when they say that I can't have two friends who are also my ex's, what they do not realize is that I met Les when I was 12, so that means I have known him half my life. Out of everyone he knew when we were younger, he will go to any lengths to keep in contact with me.

Yes, that is just how I feel, all of us have known eachother since we were at least 8-9, and we are all at least 17-18, so that too is nearly half of our lives.
It bugs me even when someone I'm not talking to says that I am not allowed to have more than one best friend.

Well Les and I were not allowed to date, but we did anyways. But we broke up becasue he moved back to Saskatchewan (I live in BC). It was because when we dated I was 15 and he was 19 (Bad Les). Go figure though, now that I am older I have a hubby who is older by almost a year than Les. Les and Jason both want to come to my wedding if they can.

Caroline always seemed to go for older guys, I believe way back when she had a boyfreind that was 19 when she was only 14. But now she is all grown up is happily married, and has one daughter, Mia.

Well I do NOT tell anyone to go for older guys. I look back on it now and they should not have been anywhere near me. Les and I shoudl never have dated, but we had been friends for so long, it just happened. I am glad it did not ruin the friendship

I'm not going to judge you by your appearence, you are actually really pretty. Plus to me Les doesn't really look older than you. Maybe that is just because all of the guys I know look older than they are soposed to. XD
I alos do not encourage dating somone older, I was just making a point. Caroline still regrets dating him, but they have also remained to be friends.

Yeah, that generally happens with guys, they tend to sound older/their age, and looke young.

I didn't mean you influenced me, I never felt pretty until I reached a certain age then I thought I was. I guess the older I got the more I realized that it was how I felt about myself that mattered and I started to look at the aspects I thought were nice about myself. I love my eyes, I have a great shaped nose, my legs are long ans slender, stuff like that.

I have several best friends...before Megan was killed in a car wreck almost two years ago, i'd decided I just wasn't going to have a maid of honor...just a bunch of bridesmaids as I couldn't choose just one. Now, things have happened in real life, and I have four bridesmaids, one maid of honor, and then there will be a special place at the front of the church with Megan's picture, her own bouquet and in the program thingy, she'll be listed as an Honorary Maid of Honor....Megan's nickname was Jaden Starr...which is where I got JadeAngel
Before that wreck though, you couldn't have ever gotten me to choose just one out of her and Stephanie
