...we haven't been born to an already existing pair of Pykiin?
Ostara is my new (and first) Pykiin and I've been lurking in the currently active RP thread(s) trying to get a sense of the world. I was figuring that new Pykiins would probably hatch from the fruit like the first ones? Or, is it possible that there are other groups of Pykiin, elsewhere? I've done my best to read all the background information but I am still left with these questions and I just don't want to develop an origin for my girl that isn't possible and will make no sense in relation to the rest. What are my options here?

Um, well that really depends on you. I know two of mine just flew into the Valley and haven't really said where they are from, others were born in the Valley just from Gemfruit and have Family based on adoption.
Chelle right now has a litle guy who is new and came from 'Somewhere else' which is what he said, and then three of us had some new Pykiin hatch last night from Gem Fruit, and they were just there.
It is more or less personal choice. Maybe you just came from the other end of the Valley and decided to come over here and liked it so much you stayed

*grins* Yes I've been watching Scratch's introduction in 'The First Four in An'ethyst' thread, it's what got me started thinking trying to figure how Ostara would become here. So it is possible that Pykiin exist in other places then... hmn... I think I'll let this stew for a little while.  Thanks again for your help PonyMama, you're a sweetie. ;D |

I suppose they can come from other valleys Scratch came out of a story I wrote for a contest. Originally he was a happy pykiin that was called upon to protect the Dryad from a dryad turned evil from brooding in the magic of it's destroyed valley I wasn't sure when or how to bring him into the picture but PonyMama's three flying knats uh girls found him out.

Yes we have realized that up until yesterday all my Pykiin had wings, and they use them.
and no need to thank me for the offer as it is Chelle who has made most the Avvies and Sigs.

You are welcome to patrol the avvie and sig pages too ifyou like making avs and sigs. PonyMama and I tend to do alot of the avvies and banners, well they used to be sigs but after 5 pykiin the seperate sigs won't hold anymore
