Harmony sat beneath the willow in which her pounce mates always met for pounce meetings, and get-togethers. Her sister Emery sat by her, smiling up at her sister. Emery so badly wanted to say things to her sister, about how she saw the good in her, and how great she was.However, she fought her body with the battle of speech. Her body was winning. Emery rested her hopeful eyes, and lay her head on her paws. The frustration was unbearable, but Emery had learned to deal with it.
Harmony sighed at her sister. "Why must they be so juevenille..." She mumbled, watching the other Kiin play around, whilst Kambo made sure all was safe. Kaenene, meanwhile, was bossing everyone around, telling them how, exactly, to play. That was probably the only quality that Harmony liked about her.
The brown Kiin rolled her eyes and slouched against the tree. She looked down at Emery. "Thank the Dryad I have at least you to talk to." Emery beamed with pride. She was honored. She felt that everyone seized to see Harmony's importance to the Valley, and that she really was a GREAT Pykiin, even though everyone, including Harmony, knew she wasn't.
Harmony squinted for a while in thought, then looked at Emery again. "Let's go." She said then draped her sister over her back. Em smiled and licked her sister's ear. Harmony glared at the air, but tolerated her sister. She secretly didn't want to ever lose Emery, and loved her with every bit of love in her body.
Harmony left the willow, venturing to wherever her feet took her.

Raki, having heard the soft chatter of Kiin, walked calmly towards the cause of the sound. He had been feeling bored and lonely lately, since his only other pounce-mate had just grown up. He reached a large clearing where a group of kiin played. Glancing around, he saw two kiin by themselves, and padded over to them.

Srenai was annoyed. He had gotten stuck with Tamarai and Dirsain for almost an hour this morning. Though they were kiin like him, they enjoyed 'playing', something Sren had no time for and didn't understand. He heard the unmistakable noises of kiin playing in front of him, and veered to avoid them, almost running into a pair of quieter kiin. "I'm sorry," he appologized quickly. "I wasn't watching where I was going."

Harmony crinkled her nose and glared at the ground at there sudden attention. On the other hand, Emery, was delighted to have others in her presence. Harmony looked at the mahogany colored male approaching them and sniffed the air. "I wouldn't if I were you." She said and looked away, only to find ANOTHER male in her face.
"Ugh, what do you WANT?! Yeah, surprisingly, you are right, as I'm sure you're not a lot. You should really open your eyes every once and a while. SOME kiin have to carry their sisters on their backs, who can't move. I could have dropped her. DROPPED. Her. Do you know what could have happened in that scenario?" The dark Kiin shouted. "You don't even want to know." Harmony snarled, and continued to walk away.
Mean while, whilst Harmony was shouting, Emery looked to the ground shyly, taking pitty on the two males. If only she could speak, she could tell them how sorry she was for her sister. But since she couldn't she just watched them worringly with big eyes, even as Harmony strode away.

Raki grinned at her, pushing the insults aside. He took a sidelong glance at her, before trotting after her, getting up beside her. "Did you know that youll grow a beard if your to snappy and mean? I found that out from my dad." He said, keeping his face strait. He looked up to the other kiin on her back, and grinned. "Hey, im Raki."

Sren jerked back as the female started yelling at him. "I was trying to avoid those idiots playing, and I didn't notice you. And I said I was sorry." His voice was flat and emotionless, as it usually got when he was angry. He felt sorry for the other kiin she carried; it couldn't be pleasant listening to this all the time.

((Hehe. I have a strange feeling that Sren and Harmony will be friends. It seems our more serious Kiin always do.))
Harmony kept the same lifeless expression. "Well then so be it. I already have facial hair, so why not more." She said emotionlessly. "Psh, fathers. He is the ONLY elder I will ever respect. Save my father's best friend, Heranai. For all I care your father can lick my-"
A sudden hint of light shown in her left eye. A huge heat rushed to her face and under arms as she listened to the authoritive male. "I." She simply said in shock. Never had she met someone that said something like that to her. "Well sorry won't.. It won't save my.. Just watch it, okay?!" She demanded. Suddenly she felt as light as a feather, her toes were simply wobbling side to side. She began to walk away, her mind saying "Yes" but her body disobeying. As they her mind and body fought, she waddled side to side. "Let's go." Harmony told Emery.
Emery obidiently nodded. Emery gently nuzzled her sister, showing her love and affection for her. Emery shared something that no one else could with her sister. They could some how tell what eachother was thinking. Like that twin-telepathy thing. She could feel the feelings her sister felt and smiled at them.

"You know Heranai?" Sren asked in surprise. "He's my uncle. My mother's brother," he clarified. "He's a friend of your father?"

"Yes. He's one of my fathers friends." Harmony said, trying not to let her tone slip into somethin more light. "So you're Rensai's son?" She asked. Her knowledge of other pounce members was quite astonishing. Well what do you expect an evil kiin to do in her spare time?

"Harmony. And this is Emery." Harmony said. Emery cooed from Harmony's back and smiled at Sren. "We should get away from my pounce before they notice. I don't want to be dragged into that little fun-fest." she said picking up her pace.

A dark, brawny figure approached the group through the tall grass. It wasn't so much as he was looking for others, more of a casual time to wreak havoc. A devious smile streaked his face and he tightly tucked in featherful wings closer into his side as he came closer and closer. He gave a small flick of his tail and then slyly bounded out of the grass attempting to startle one of the ‘Kiin that was close by.
He stood tall with his shoulders broad, “You all seem to be enjoying yourselves.” He commented as his gaze lingered from ‘Kiin to ‘Kiin. His eyes then fell upon a little white one that was resting atop another. “You especially.” He added ignorant of what was going on, “Did ya get hurt or something?” He asked arrogantly as he swayed his tail from side to side.

"Dryad forbid,", Sren said feelingly, speeding up to match Harmony's pace. "It's nice to meet both of you." When another pykiin came over suddenly, he stared down the larger kiin affrontedly. "And you are...?"

Quidel held his head high, it would take more than a mere stare to cause him to be insulted. He chuckled at the ‘Kiins attempt at rudeness and slighted at his funny markings, “Call me Qui, but to be quite frank I wasn’t talking to you.”
Quidel flicked his tail haughtily and rubbed his face with his paw, “Ya’ll aren’t going off to play are ya?” He asked mockingly as his mind lead him to believe so.

Harmony glared at the male. How dare he disrespect her sister. She bared her teeth for a moment then pierced into his eyes with hers. "She was born like that. She fell off the Dryad too early and no one caught her. She can't speak or walk." Harmony explained, her tone violent and cold. Her claw began to emerge from her paws in anger. They were quickly submerged, though. Khairi told her that Kiin like that weren't even worth the energy.
"To be quite frank, we won't be talking to you either, Qui." Harmony practically spat the name.And we don't play." The dark brown Kiin hissed. "We're getting away from those who do."
