Snapping open his eyes quickly, realizing he was being spoken to, Kiriya nodded his head quickly and smiled as best he could, which was rather convincing, he thought. "Oh, yeah, I'm fine," he tried to assure her. "Sorry, I was just thinking." He hoped that Kenzie wouldn't ask what about. In an attempt to avoid the question, he added, "I think a lot. Just about random things, mostly." He smiled and blushed a bit, a tad embarrassed that he was making up excuses, even though they were true. Kiriya thought that they made him sound childish.

With a smile of relief, he nodded, thinking that he'd avoided the question. His smile faded, and he turned it to a puzzling expression, as though he didn't know what he was thinking about, as inconspictulously as he could. "I don't really know," he lied. "I suppose I was just dazing off."
Why was he acting so weird? Usually he wouldn't dare say anything but the truth. Why was he so embarrassed? Kiriya sat down, filled with guilt as he attempted to right the wrong of lying. "W'll... I know what I was thinking about, actually. But..." he still wasn't so confident as to tell her.

"I'm not sure what it is myself, but should I figure it out," he added in his mind, 'completely figure it out', "then I'll tell you. Thanks, Mackenzie." He smiled, glad that she was willing to listen to him.

They made their way into the Valley from the Forest.
Braden looked around with a huge smile. It was peaceful and serene and absolutely GORGEOUS!

"That was a short trip," Kiriya noted. To him, it seemed like they had gone to pick up him, then come back. "Well, welcome to the Valley, I suppose," Kiriya murmured, speaking to Braden, but unsure of whether or not he wanted to.

"Yeah they usually are. I usually only go for only a few minutes to see everyone then leave. I don't really like staying too long. I like being in the Valley but I miss people from back there." Mackenzie explained to Kiriya.
He couldn't get his eyes off of the Valley it was gorgeous here. Why had he never been here before? He traveled a lot and seen many places but never seen a place like this. Except one where he would have his future den with his future soulmate.
"Thank You!" Braden said to Kiriya his eyes still on the Valley.

Kiriya smiled, a small hint of blush showing against his brown fur. "Thanks."
What was he thinking? He'd never felt like he was now. Perhaps - hopefully - the feeling would pass. He didn't know what it was. Perhaps it was just nervousness from not seeing his dad or sister in a while, and it was showing now? No, that wasn't it. He knew that they were fine. So... what was it, then?
