Tree-speaker is sitting at the base of the Dryad, preening her feathers when you walk up. She turns to you with curious green eyes and motions to a small spindly Bonded at her hooves.
"Do you remember Palido? This interesting character showed up during one of Amaranthine's trips to An'ethyst quite some time ago. He and his kind have since remained in the background, left at the edge of interest due to their flighty and distrusting nature.
They are still around, however, and time has revealed that their special ability is quite interesting - they give the Dryad full control over the pykiin's appearance and the pykiin usually recovers from the alteration with a very stunning new set of markings, or even on occasion a brand-new mutation or mini-mutation. The pounce owner has little say over what happens, but will generally be pleased by the change. If one of these creatures is bonded to your pykiin, you have the choice whether or not to use its ability.
The species needs a name, though, and I'm running short on creative juices lately. Do you have any suggestions?"
