Heh, Jade, my sketchbook -is- my homework today ^^ The assignment is to do a drawing of a double-meaning thinger (like hot dog, home run, etc.) and the one that just jumped straight off of the list was "weeping Willow". As you can imagine, I had the Dryad on the brain immediately. I've done a willow dryad sketch before, and it's still one of my favorite digital sketches. This version has to be in my school sketchbook with... a more school-appropriate rating. >.> I would link to my old one, but it's got a small amount of tasteful nudity. If you hack into my Photobucket you could probably find it (not that I encourage that, though). ANyyways. School is going wonderfully, I don't think there has been a better week for me. I have a field trip this coming Thursday to see a Shakespeare play and I get to miss all school that day ^^ It means more work later, but oh well. And tomorrow afternoon I start clarinet choir, which I'm really really looking forward to. My clarinet is becoming one of my best buddies now  |

Clarinet choir = FANTASTIC and stuff. The people are so awesome and it seems like we're just there to have fun instead of actually practice. The ensemble director has fun with us, but she's an awesome conductor and really knows what she's doing. I'm a horrible sightreader, and I felt spotlighted being the only B flat clarinet at choir today with a new peice of music in front of me. It'll get better though, the peices are all a blast to play (even if I feel like I'm being dragged about) and just... WOW. I have never been more estatic about school in my life, seriously xD
... except this big pile of homework and makeup work for tomorrow that I need to work on now.
*dives in* Wheeeeeee! Hahahahahah. I feel like someone's just given me a shot of sugar. Either that or a free ticket to Band tour this year. x3

It's good you are enjoying yourself, not many people can come home from school and say they had an exceptionally great day. I know I can't xD
But I know I will eventually this school year, the begining is never my favorite part. I feel like I have never been to a school in my laife after summers, so in the beginign I tend to get... well, not so great grades *looks at progress report* O.O
I swear I'm a good student, I just have to focus. Hopefully these little things won't ruin my weekend plans. I wish you luck in your homework adventure, now that you mention it, I have about 50 terms I need to define before tomorrow that I should get working on. And maybe if you get done fast enough, you can work on your ever so long To-Do list xD
But in your time, I don't want you to not put your best effort in your school work, real life matters more than us here.
