Ah yes, that time again. In about an hour I get swept away to that magical place of learning and... um... excitement. I'm actually quite excited, though. On Friday -right- after I left I got a call from a group of my friends who were going out for pizza and I was pretty bummed that I missed it. I get to see them all soon, though!
Anyways, with school comes responsibility and all that fun stuff, as I'm sure most of you are experiencing right now. Not that the Pykiin will be on hiatus or anything, but things will slow down quite a bit. I have quite a few things on my plate and I wouldn't expect too many events this month. However, once I prune down my to-do list I'll be sure to open up a few growing/alterations slots as well as a couple of custom slots. I ask that those who have recieved juveniles during breeding season hold back on plans to grow them this month, so that people who have had juveniles from other events can have a chance to grow theirs.
As usual, I plan to be here as often as possible and plan on many great things for the Valley. All I ask is that the Valley members have patience, which you guys have been great with so far. Have fun, enjoy your school year, and look forward to many exciting things popping up around the Valley! <3

Aww, school. I miss it! Makes me want to enroll in some more college classes just so I can say I'm still going to school. XD
I think the holding off growing breeding season kiins is a good idea. Gives us all more time to rp! ^_^

Actually, today wasn't too bad. Yes, the teachers have given me an hour of homework on the very first (half!) day, but other than that it's all good. My teachers are interesting, except first-hour Geometry. He's a lecture guy xP I get to be a teacher aide for my band director, which will be loads of fun, and I've already made friends with a few nice freshmen, including one who formerly went to Mira's school.
I got to see all of my friends, too. They're all doing great and it's amazing to see everyone! It's odd to talk to them for the first time in ages and remember what they're like, too. "Oh yeah, you're the extremely hyper one! I'll probably fall over laughing before Mom comes to pick me up." Bearman forgot my name though, I'll never let him live that down xD
And, just as a going back to school present to my self, I zipped across the street to Borders after school and bought myself Pan's Labyrinth and a bottle of Tazo white tea with cranberries <3 Now the only two movies I've ever bought are both foreign language flicks, but I love both of them to death. "Les Choristes" is my other one.
</rambling>
Alright, I need to get back to my homework, then when I'm done I'll catch up on a few odd jobs like certing and soulmating and whatnot. See you all soon!

Oi, my first day I got lots of homework. Well for the first day atleast. I had to rush into class so that I could have enough time to find my desk and put most everything in it. I couldn't get my locker open until about lunch time, so everything that couldn't fit in my desk had to go at the back of the room until I got my locker open.
Everything got harder this year and our books our much bigger. But besides that and having pretty much split classes through the whole school this year, nothing really changed. I got to see everybody again so that was a good thing.

My school started today as well, and I'm surprised by how little homework I have. Other than the innumerable forms to be signed, of course. Most of my books I am allowed to leave at home, so my bookbag won't be as heavy as last year either. All in all, I'm quite happy with how the first day went.
I'm glad your first day wnet pretty well too.

Second day of school was busy. I had homework for almost every subject. Good thing I finished most of my homework in class. Lots of things to get sign too. I have to make four maps of North Korea for my first quarter project. I was lucky, I got a pretty easy country. Some other kids got some countries even my teacher couldn't pronounce.
