Sonea stayed where she was with a small smile. As she'd intended, Kaleigh had heard the words, and failed to notice the lack of movement. Sonea had found that most pykiin reacted that way. Now Kaleigh had said what needed to be said, and she realized it wasn't as big a deal as she'd thought.
"See? What do you need me for, you're doing just fine on your own." Sonea smiled reassuringly at her friend. "That's the way of the world, you're an adult now." Turning to Jayden, she explained, "I recently left home myself, so I guess I was moral support."

Kaleigh gave her father a huge hug and whispered, "I love you" in his ear.
She then looked at Sonea. She caught it. Sonea had never meant to leave she was just trying to help her out. Having her there really did make things seem so much easier. Even though it turned out to be extremely simple. She gave Sonea a huge hug, too. Whispering in her ear, "Thank You."
"Moral support I see." Jayden smiled. It was time to put things back on track. "So Ms. Grown-Up, where do you plan to move?"
Kaleigh was brought up short. She hadn't thought that far ahead. She just knew that she needed out of her parents den. "I don't know." She replied after a moment of hesitation.
"Well we ought to find you a suitable home then huh?" He smiled at her.
"Oh Oh!" Taylor chimed in again. "I know the perfect place! Follow me!" He scurried off.
Kaleigh was skeptical but she decided it best to follow the little remiel. "Come on!" She exclaimed to Sonea and Jayden.

Sonea smiled and hugged Kaleigh. "Anytime," she whispered back.
"A home, huh?" Sonea followed Kaleigh and her exuberent remiel at a more decorus pace, thinking. She'd no home herself, since she left her mother's den. It was so warm out, she hadn't needed one. But it was late in the summer now. Soon, the nights would begin to chill. Perhaps she too needed to find a home. A place of her own - such a nice thought.
Sonea smiled softly to herself, and trotted along behind her friends, looking at the land about her with new interest.

"Whatcha thinkin' about Ms. Sonea?" Jayden asked as he noticed her pace and the look on her face.
Kaleigh started to wonder about where Taylor was taking her. They'd been on the trail for quite awhile by now and she still saw no signs of a den. "Taylor where are you taking us?" She asked. Just as she said the words the remiel stopped in mid-stride. Kaleigh looked around. All she seen was Willow leaves that touched the ground. The tree itself must be pretty big she thought to herself. She poked her head inside the leaves to take a look. She was taken aback. Inside the covering of leaves was a strange array of flowers. It was like they were planted in a specific pattern. They were in the shape of a circle, except for one opening for a walkway, in between the leaves and the trunk. There was about every color in the rainbow. It was gorgeous she thought. A perfect place to think! She looked closer at the trunk. It was an extremely large trunk in width. But why had Taylor brought her here? There was a small hole in the tree. She walked more into the covering to investigate. Perfect size for a remiel. Not so much for her. "Am I supposed to fit in there?" She asked Taylor. "Well of course!" He exclaimed. He then looked at her and back at the hole. "Well maybe not." He then circled the tree to the other side. he looked at that part of the tree. "But this might work for you." She followed him around and in front of the spot he was looking at. This hole was not nearly as small as the first. She walked inside. The ground was made up of the wood from the willow in the beautiful tree circles. She could defiently get used to that! The walls and the ceailing were formed into a dome. She could make that look nice! Al in all it would fit her perfectly. There was one problem. It looked like it had been formed this way by someone. "This place is open?" She asked her eyes still scoping the room, completely mesmerized. "Are you sure noone lives here already?" "No I have been scoping the place." Taylor replied also mesmerized by the site. "I was drawn here and had to make sure that noone stayed here. I knew that you would like it as much as I do."

Sonea looked up and smiled at Jayden. "Oh, you know. Growing up, family, home. I aught to be looking for one myself, I suppose. Though I've a little time left before it starts getting cold." Sonea looked forward again, to see where Kaleigh was, and was startled to find she had disappeared. Then, of course, she saw the huge willow, and nodded, smiling. Sticking her head through the thick leafy screen, she asked, "Can I come in?" Looking around, she still didn't see anyone. She entered slowly, careful not to disturb the springy boughs any more than necessary. Walking around cautiously, she stepped delicately around the flowers until she came to the door. Sneaking her head around the edge, she started, "Can I come i... Wow. This place is beautiful." She stared about the room, eyes wide and shining. "Beautiful," she repeated reverently. Looking to Kaleigh, she added, "I suppose congratulations are in order? Welcome home."

Jayden smiled at Sonea. "We could help you I'm sure! There are lots of hidden places in the Valley. "Speaking of hidden beauties." Jayden said as he followed Sonea into the willow.
Kaleigh was startled by Sonea's voice. She shouldn't have been. What a bad friend not to invite her in. "Is it not the single most amazing place you've ever seen?" Kaleigh turned back to the room scanning once more, looking for imperfections. Not one.. "I don't know. It just really seems too good to be true." Kaleigh stated. "I promise you noone lives here." Taylor stated catching her drift. "But it looks like it was carved." Kaleigh protested. "And?" Taylor questioned. "It very well could have. If there was an owner he or she hasn't been here in quite awhile. Plus look there isn't any furniture. You do know places like this exist not just here but around the Valley. I'm guessing your Dryad made them this way for the Pykiin." Kaleigh listened as she stared around the room. He had to be right. There really wasn't any furniture. She'd have to make her own, and she had no problem with that. She tried hard to wrap her head around the fact that this place was hers and she couldn't. "Kaleigh, honey, I've never seen a more perfect place for you." Jayden paused. "Even my own den." That statement right there was enough to make her wrap her head around it. She was on her own and this was her den.

"I'm sure I'll have no trouble finding a place. As you say, the Valley's full of perfect homes." Sonea smiled reassuringly. She really wasn't worried, she felt she had plenty of time. It would be a fun search.
"It really is amazing," she confirmed, not that Kaleigh really needed her to say it. It was pretty self-evident. "It reminds me a little of Seri's place, but so much lighter and more open." Remembering what she'd been told, she added, "Seri grew her place, after she became an earth elemental. I've heard Tinaeus has a place inside a tree like this too, that he made. It does seem odd that something like this came to be all by itself." She looked to Taylor curiously. "How did you find this, and when?" Hurriedly, she added, "Not that I don't believe you, it just seems so fantastical."

Kaleigh listened to Sonea and formed a little hypothesis. "Maybe Tinaeus went around the Valley and made little peices of heaven for the Pykiin to live in." She thought out loud. It seemed kind of reasonable. "Very well could be." Taylor smiled. Knowing that whatever she accepted was fine with him. He had studied the place and he knew noone lived here. He wanted to live here more than anything which is why he studied for so long. "When I was coming to the Valley from An'ethyst I ducked under the leaves outside there, willows have always been my favorite tree, and I found that small hole. I crawled in and found this place. I thought it perfect! So I studied it, like I said, for about.." He paused as he went through the days in his head. "I'd say 2 weeks give or take a day." Kaleigh looked at him shocked. "You've been in the Valley for over 2 weeks?" He nodded. "Why didn't you come find me first?" She questioned. He shrugged. "This place is important to me."

Sonea lifted a brow amusedly. "That seems like an awful lot of work, from what I know of Seri's place. Or maybe it's easier for Tinaeus." That much was probably true, but she still doubted that the First pykiin would spend time hollowing out trees for other pykiin's homes. Not that it mattered, since Tayler was so sure it was uninhabited.
As the pair bickered - sorry, discussed - the remiel's presence, Sonea snorted softly, almost inaudibly. They seemed to suit each other well, at least they would once they got sorted out. For a moment Sonea wondered if the bonded destined for her was in the Valley, waiting for the right time. With another small sniff, she shook her head. Useless to think of it, she could only wait and hope that someday, she'd have her own small friend.

"Yeah true but I just don't know any other explanation." Kaleigh said. She walked farther into the room. She looked around and tried to figure out what kind of furniture she could make to fit into the room. She imagined all different kinds of furniture. Which set would look the best? Which would look most homey?

Sonea shrugged and nodded agreement. It really didn't matter anyway. "Need any fashion advice?" she asked jokingly. She didn't really know that much about interior decorating, though she'd be glad to help if she could. It might give her some ideas when she finally found her own place.

Kaleigh smiled. She knew she was surrounded by all kinds of love, but all she wanted to do was to dish out some. "Actually, I could use some help." She told Sonea. "But I think we should find you a place!" That sounded like a much better plan. She could figure out the details of her own place later.

"I'm not worried," Sonea demurred. "Something will turn up when I need it. We're her, now, and this is all yours, and you should get a chance to revel in that feeling for a bit, hmm?" She wanted to make sure Kaleigh was happy, and had a chance to sit down and think about it, and realize she was happy. Sonea knew she could wait a little longer, if need be. Something great would present itself when she needed it - that was how the Valley was.
