Just before school started my mum, dad and brother went to go see the musical Blackbeard. Holy snap. O.O I loved it. I love all of Rob Gardner's musicals (he sticks to the true story so strongly in all of his musicals, it's just so great). The first of his that I saw was The Price of Freedom, a WWII musical. <333
But anyways, the musical Blackbeard tells of Blackbeard's blockade of Charleston harbor in May of 1718, taking a ship hostage (yes, it did have people aboard) and demanding an unusual ransom of medicine.
The musical is hilarious and the music is great. <333 The people who play Blackbeard and Mary are actually married and my brother and I go to see them every Thursday, along with a few other kids for musical rehearsal, just as we did last year and for the past four summers. They are so great. <333
So anyways, I preordered my Blackbeard CD a few weeks ago and it's finally here! <333 Oh. My. Gosh. I love it. *cries* I am so obsessed. xD It's currently downloading. :3
