>_< Okay so I had to move out of the house I've lived in for two years, as some of you know. My landlords can't afford the oil to heat the place this winter (stupid cold Maine winters...), plus it needs a lot of work on the roof, etc.
So I moved in with my mom, just until I can figure out what I'm going to do and where I'm going to go. This week I finally finished moving into her house, including my two truck loads of furniture (why do I have so much stuff!? lol...)
So what happens when I call the phone company to tell them to unhook the internet at my house and hook it up at my mom's instead? They tell me it doesn't go to her house! >___<
This is stupid because I know she had internet through the phone at one point a couple years ago. The phone company switched names since then, but I don't see why that means they no longer offer internet services to her house.
I don't know what I'm going to do. I can get internet through her cable tv but it's more than twice as expensive. Blah. $50 a month just for internet!? I only pay $20 through the phone company!
So for now, I'm not able to get internet much. I can sneak on during work a little bit, Mon-Wed. And I can sneak to the local hotel and use their free internet by sitting in their parking lot, but that doesn't allow me much time to do a lot. -_-
I'll see what my other options are and keep you all informed! *hugs* I'm not gone! Just stuck until I find a less expensive way to get internet!
