Search? Search for what? Her mind wandered as she looked at him still clearly puzzled.
She sighed and shook her head still a little annoyed that he wasn't going to tell her what he was looking for, but knowing that there was probably a good explination as to why he wasn't spilling kept her from pestering him.
With her mane trailing behind her as the wind current tossed it she scanned the trees looking for something. Anything. Still no luck with guessing what he was after she stayed close to him allowing him to win and show her the way.

((Ryuu will sneak on the forums Mon-Wed to reply to a few rp's! Too bad most of everyone here is in school at that time. XD;;; ))
Denali coasted just over the tops of the trees. He wasn't used to flying in his bigger body yet; a few times he misjudged the space between himself and the branches and got a nasty thwack on his legs. But the rambunctuous male didn't much care and just kept searching.
He led Cheyenne far over the forest, getting further and further from the Dryad that stood in the center of the Valley. After a while he wondered if they were still in the Valley at all, or had passed into the outer reaches of their protective land.
Mostly he was distracted with searching. His sharp eyes didn't look up more than a glance or two to keep him going in the right direction. His focus was on the ground below. It wasn't going to be easy to see his goal through the thick trees.
Suddenly the snow white Pykiin let out a yelp and dived down between two trees, vanishing into the forest in an instant.

Cheyenne’s eyes scanned the surrounding locale. Only once did she look back to see just how far they had actually gone. The Dryad didn’t look as big as it used to. Now it was a mere twig glued to the center of a vast grass area.
As the trip carried on it seemed as though the trees got thicker and thicker. Now some looked to be just about the size of the Dryad. They weren’t. It must have been her eyes playing tricks on her, but before she knew it Denali was gone, swooping between two trees and fading.
She followed, though timidly as her dainty paws brushed the surrounding greenery. “Denali…?” She called out for once in her life a tint of fright lingered on her speech.
(( Wheeee! I feel acomplished... xD ))

"Down here!" came the urgent voice of Denali. Branches and twigs rustled as he pushed his way through the trees that grew close together, blocking his view.
Softly Denali landed on the forest floor, after wiggling free of the tree branches. He had small bits of leaves and bark stuck in his fur, but impatiently shook himself to be rid of most of it, and ignored the rest. He looked up at Cheyenne. "Come down here! You have to see this!"
((D'oh, I had to cut this short. XD;;; I shall be back tomorrow!))

Cheyenne gracefully landed on the ground next to Denali. She shook her mane vigerously to rid her lengthy mass of fur from the leaves and twigs. Unlike her friend though she took the time to pull out the leaves.
She made eye contact breifly, "What?"
