Tyler smiled and loped after her, the crystal held gently in his mouth. He already knew what he was going to do with it; at home he had a small silver chain that used to be his mothers. He would put it on the chain and give it to Twiz as a necklace, if she wanted it.
Happy with the idea that he had come up with, he caught up with her, hoping that they would be able to find more.

Twiz tilted her head slightly before going on into the tunnel. It was a decent length, where it aloud enough light to come through. Walking jubilantly further, she gasped. Along the walls were millions tiny crystals, the size of a button. Round and reflecting off the the sun's rays. Some where laying on the ground, burried beneath sand or sitting there without a care in the world.
"So... many... colors." She stumbled to speak, coming over to skim her paw on the beautiful crystals. "What do you think?" She asked her friend.

Tyler looked around, his mouth hanging open. "Wow, there are tons of them. It really is beautiful.." He murmured, amazed. "I should bring some home for my mother anf father. And my sister. I think they would like them alot."

It was hard to pull her gaze away from the walls but she managed to do it. "Yeah, I know. Sounds like a splending idea. We should start, I dunno if the sun will stay up any longer." She said, pointing towards the entrance where the light was slightly dimming.
Twiz ran over to the wall where she spotted a crystal. "What about this one? For you Mom." She asked, brushing off some sand to show an amethyst colored gem.

Tyler watched her, a strange warmth in his eyes. He quickly turned away, hoping she hadnt noticed. When he looked back it was gone, his normal expression back in place. "That is pretty. Your mom will love it." He said to her, smiling that crooked smile of his.
A soft green light attracted his eye, and he pulled a small white gem, with cyan and aqua flecks in it, off of the cave wall. "I like this one quite a bit. It has a certain.. charm about it." He murmured, more to himself than to anyone else.

Twiz giggled, "No silly. I'm talking about your mom, Mrs. Sara. Though, maybe something blue, since she has cyan hair?" She paused for a moment before sighing. "I never really met my mom. Or if I did, I don't remember her. She left a long time ago before I left my old home." She smiled weakly, her eyes a little meloncholy.
Twiz walked over towards Tyler to take a look at the gem. "It certainly does. I've never seen anything like it." Her eyes marveled the cyan and aqua colors.

Tyler glanced at her, a bit surprised. "Wow, thats really nice of you. I am sure she will love it." His smile faded when he heard about her mother. "Im sorry." He murmurred softly.
"And I think a blue gem would go wonderfully with her hair." He nodded slightly, his ears bobbing along.

Her weak smile was replaced by little laughter, joyous in every bit. "C'mon, I think the sun is setting. We better get you home before your mom worries." Twiz grabbed her little amethyst colored gem then walked to the tunnel's opening. A warm sea breeze blew across her face, giving the smell of salty air.
"Oh! Looks like this tunnel leads out into an ocean view. How wonderful." She breathed, watching the sun, now large over the crashing waves set. It seemed close enough to burn everything into a crisp.

Tyler followed after her, quiet. "Yes, we cant have my mother worry." He murmured, a small grin playing on his mouth.
Looking out at the ocean, he closed his eyes, enjoying the breeze on his face. "I love how the ocean smells. It so clean and.. salty." He chuckled softly, opening his eyes and looking at her.

Twiz made a slight face, "Salty is sometimes too sticky." She stuck her tongue out little disgust. "The sun is really big, seems like we could swim to it if we wanted too. But it's all the way in space." She smiled, looking ahead and the rippling waters of the calm ocean.
